Just been for the Boxing Day fixed menu with my family. The food was beautiful, one of the group has food allergies and the staff were brilliant discussing menu options with them. Lovely friendly, helpful staff 10/10

We were staying in the Premier Inn anyway and this is a convenient location for dinner - no drink driving! The restaurant also catered for 17 of us to have a meal after my mother in laws funeral earlier. Stacey and Lynn looked after us very well on all 4 nights between them - very grateful ?

Popular place, good service, ok food that was value for money and plentiful, nice beer, there is a pool table! Clean toilets with hot hot water. Plenty of parking.

Once again this place gets a negative review from me. Sixth or seventh stay here and already, on the first evening, I am told by an efficious bar assistant that drinks aren't served at the bar but from the food queue. OK, join the food queue which has grown exponentially since we arrived at the drinks bar. 'It's the way we do it!' The same instruction didn't appear to apply to another gentleman! Next: 'You can't stand at the bar with your drinks; you must go through to the other room!' The other room being cold and uncomfortable. On enquiring after breafast times, the bar assistant was unsure and jad to check. She knew the rules to 'control' customers but was unable to provide an immediate answer to a customer enquiry. This place has not improved over the yrars and, if anything has deteriorated. A great shame because the client Premier Inn and staff next door are superb. We won't be back this time. Unfortunately for PI, Travelodge have just acquired some new customers.

New menu, it's not as much choice, the service was slow even though it wasn't very busy, food wasn't anything to shout about I could have cooked and presented it better at home, this is the second time we've not enjoyed it there we won't be back
