First time in the granary ordered our food and turned around to see a dog, absolutely disgusting when cafe owners allow animals where food is,not only that but I am allergic to animals I have rhinitis and dogs irritate my nose, throat,so going somewhere now I have to find out if its not dog friendly,I told the woman in the granary but she wasn't fazed think she thought I was making it up,as much as I like animals its no good for my health, and people who haven't got allergies like this don't understand, but truthfully if I didn't have this condition I would be put off going to eat out and it's got dogs lying about the place, very unhygienic and a put off when dogs are allowed in places where food is,plus we had 2 latte's two cheese and onion toasties, and the price was absolutely horrendous £19 so apart from the dog friendly part the price was a rip off,and it wasn't very nice, definitely definitely would not recommend

Very good food, warm fresh and delicious, the place has a very nice decor, and kind staff, very nice place. They even allowed dogs, which was great for mine, and they had brought him some dog treats.

Food was amazing. Had an amazing English breakfast (with my first black pudding experience and it was delicious!). Food was served quickly and the cafè was packed with an amazing atmosphere!

Lovely coffee shop right in the middle of town, tasty homemade food and cakes. Friendly service with a chance to interact with locals who are always up for a chat. The portions are good, enough tea for three cups in a single serving!

Nice little tearoom, good selection of cakes. Cooked breakfast, and various lunch choices, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. No baby changing facilities

An OK breakfast spoiled by a pot of tea for two, at £4, being a four cup pot with two tea bags, so the tea was undrinkably weak, and four pieces of toast with two tiny pats of butter between them. When I mentioned the tea I was told "Next time ask for it stronger"; there won't be a next time. I come to Wigton around four times per week, but your frugality has cost you my custom in the future.

A lovely discovery on a horribly wet and dreary day. Delicious food.

Visiting Wigton at lunchtime so went into the Granary. he staff were friendly and the interior was very clean and welcoming. We had delicious quiche accompanied by side salad. Husband had Brie and cranberry with potato salad and I had cheese and tomato with coleslaw. The coffee and tea with a slice of fruit cake to finish topped of a lovely lunch in very pleasant surroundings. A cafe not to be missed. A little treasure. Thank you
