35 High St, WigtonI am from Bolton and on holiday at Wallace Lane Farm. Where I'm from there's hundreds of takeaways to choose from so would like to think I know my stuff. This place was AMAZING. Quick delivery, piping hot food, no mistakes and the pizzas were absolutely delicious, cannot fault it at all. Kids commented on the cheese pull! Please open a branch in Bolton haha!

Little Bampton, WigtonMe & my 3 friends went to ayr for weekend we travelled into ayr city centre as we had booked in for a meal. The food was delicious ? we all cleared our plates the desserts were even better we all had 2 alchol drinks and the bill came to £95 totally worth it .The service was welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere.i have already recommended this place to my family and friends

Crofton Hall Coffee Shop and Eatery
Unit 4/5 The Old Stable Block, Crofton, ThursbyWow, wow! We were recommended Crofton Hall for lunch and we were very impressed. From the friendly welcome, to the excellent service, and to the absolutely delicious food, it was all 10/10. Being a wheelchair user, my needs were understood and taken care of during our visit. I was able to be dropped off and helped into the room. Good sized disabled bathroom too. The place itself is very clean and a lovely setting overlooking a stunning building, set in relaxing, beautiful grounds. Now back to the important part, the food, and the menu has such varied options. I chose the Mediterranean hot pot which was amazing. Good portions and beautifully presented. My hubby and friend enjoyed their meals too which were loaded fries and fish finger sandwich. I enquired about one dish as was concerned that it may be too spicy, and they even offered to cook it less spicy - now that's excellent customer service. The choice of cakes were excellent, but we were too full for one, so we had some ice cream, which was very moreish. The only thing is as an ice cream lover, I would have liked more choice than vanilla, but that is just a personal choice and doesn't change my review at all. At the end of the meal, we were told it was nice to meet us and thank you for coming. It made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning and will be highly recommending Crofton Hall. Thank you.

The old smithy Midtown, CaldbeckWhile on our camping holiday we stopped her for coffee, scones & lemon cake. It was all so fresh & lovely. The outside area is beautiful with all the lovely plants & flowers. Staff really pleasant & friendly. Would definitely recommend. ❤️

Bothel, WigtonWe go at least once a month at lunch time.Never had any complaints in over 8 years.Service is very quick even when very busy.Prawn salad with chips today.Perfect.As usual we took home scones and cream slices for later.Their Christmas dinners are unbelievable value.

Bari at Bird In Hand
Oulton, WigtonA lovely hidden gem! It did look closed when we first arrived but it is very much open. A rural Indian restaurant, which is truly authentic when you walk in. Roushan Bari is the owner and does the cooking. She was lovely throughout and spent time talking to us. We had the poppadoms and chutney tray. A nice spicy twist on the mango chutney. I lived in Blackburn previously where a Rogan Josh was spicy but moving up here, everywhere we have gone, its been bland, no spice tomato curry but here, I found the much loved spicy Rogan Josh which was super tasty. I was super impressed. The hubby had a mince biriani which was amazing. The size of the naan was bigger than our heads and was also lovely. I honestly thought this place had recently opened but its been there for a long time. We really enjoyed our date night there with a lovely bottle of red wine. They also do take out but dont deliver. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning for a meal or take out. So glad that we found this place.

My 2 young boys love it there especially with the Cake with lots of fruit on top! They are always greeted by wonderful staff and customers around My highlight has to be the "Prana Chai" - a milky, whole spices tea latte! A must try!

Bothel, WigtonLovely welcome into the pub today. We both had Sunday dinners. Lamb and beef. They have Hawkstone cider and lager on draught too which was great. They were very helpful to an elderly couple and their families too. Nothing was a problem. This was our 2nd visit here and we will go back again.

Shuhag Indian Flavours
33 King St, WigtonOriginally coming from the Midlands I've found getting a decent curry very difficult, until now! The dishes I’ve tried from Shuhag have been excellent, fantastic ingredients and surprisingly hot. The medium strength chicken tikka balti, and the chicken tikka garlic are superb, hot enough yet properly spiced as they didn't cause me any indigestion, well recommended!
