Good brown bun sandwich, with cake and tea. Friendly staff, outside seating only by the stream, but enjoyable..Would call again. Not open every day!

What a gem of a find this was. Such a lovely view of the little river whilst sitting on the benches. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious and my husband says his coffee was one of the best he's tasted. Sausage roll and quiche were also really nice and the young blonde lady who served us was very friendly ☺

A little gem. Great food sandwiches, panninis, quiche, scones, cakes etc with brilliant staff.Wife had the special sausage sandwich and I had cheese and onion quiche and we could resist the fruit scone (I got the last one) and a large slice of lemon drizzle for the boss.Great on a nice day, sat by the steam watching not very much happening in a gorgeous Cumbrian village.Well worth a drive out from the Lake District with great walks in the area or even a trip down to the Solway Plain with views over the firth to Scotland.Fortunately, for us, it’s 8 miles ?

Beautiful location right by the river. Lovely food and coffee. Order your food at the kiosk and sit by the river. Will come again.

We have just visited this little gem of a place, the two lovely girls serving were so friendly, we took our Scotty dog in they gave him a fuss and a bowl of water. The bacon toasties were delicious, my son said it was the best they had had and they put lots on. The cakes looked beautiful so we had to get some on the way out. Thank you xxxxx

Stopped off for refreshments after our Ramblers walk today. Tables outside were nice and clean. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious!

Lovely little coffee shed at the side of the road with quite an extensive menu considering the size. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate with a smarties cookie. Reasonable prices too and Lovely staff in an idyllic location next to the stream in Caldbeck with plenty of seating. We'll worth a stop when out and about.

This is my ‘go to’ place for a cup of coffee and bacon roll after a dog walk. I’m on my third loyalty card so that tells you how much I like sitting there with coffee, bacon roll and dog. Always friendly staff, always cheerful and pleased to see you. Food and coffee on their varied menu is always good, fresh & tasty.

Great little road side take away cafe. Very chatty and friendly staff! Plenty of benches running along the stream to sit at and enjoy the views . Only £2 for an ice-cream cone , £1 for duck food! Very reasonable prices ! Highly recommend!

Stopped for a coffee and something for lunch. Chose the cottage pie in a pie from the specials board and it was a great choice. £4 and so tasty, packed with mince, peas and carrots and topped with mash. Would definitely eat there again. In fact after a walk round the village we did! Had their vanilla Italian ice cream and was yummy.

Called in while passing through Caldbeck and enjoyed an amazing breakfast. I had the most delicious bacon bun & lovely cup of tea. My partner had the breakfast wrap which he thoroughly enjoyed. We sat on the picnic benches beside a small stream & it was just beautiful.
