Went to the Karaoke Pod as a group of 11 friends which was great fun. We had intended to just go back to the rented house after karaoke but the downstairs bar had fantastic music and a brilliant atmosphere so we ended up staying. The barman ‘Mark?’ was an absolute star. He was very efficient, friendly and had great craic. The music a DJ and saxophonist were awesome. Even the security staff were lovely, friendly and professional. We would highly recommend the Baha. It was one of the highlights of our weekend.

This place is done nicely, very bougie. There is a bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs, the staff were really friendly and even got me a birthday card. The food wasn’t anything special though, we thought this was going to be fine dining but it was more like TGI Fridays. I’d come back to the bar but I wouldn’t eat in the restaurant again.

Booked to have a family meal on Sunday 12th November. We all had Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed at all. The service was amazing as was the food. We had a fantastic time. Thank you so much

Really enjoyed my evening at Baha Bowness, very nice place. They had introduced a new menu on the night we went which tasted unbelievable, however the portion sizes were too small in my opinion and wasn't worth what I paid. Apart from that very good experience

From what used to be one of my favourite places to go, this place has evidently gone down hill. There were literally no customers, freezing cold venue, no music or atmosphere whatsoever and the new furniture makes the restaurant look like a storage room. I told the waiter who laughed hysterically and agreed.Good service, food was ok but for the price I expected better. They’ve reduced their portions but price the same, if not more expensive.Will not be going back.

Quiet time of year so no problem turning up without a booking. Prompt service. Good food - ordered 3 small plates to share, beautiful! Great vibe and lovely decor. Bonus was staying at the Cranleigh Hotel and getting 15% discount!

Had an enjoyable night here. The food was really tasty and the service was really good, everyone was very friendly. I'd say this is more a family friendly place than a romantic venue but didn't stop us having a good time! Plus we'd definitely come back with the kids of we're in Bowness again
Our friend was throwing us her b’day party and wanted to enjoy the night life of windermere. I never knew a vivacious pub like this do exist in windermere. Saturday was a dj night and oh boy dj did played an unconventional hindi song just for us which is flattering really and we ended up dancing to tunes after few drinks. Truly loved it do visit and have fun with friends

Thank you to the team for being incredibly welcoming and looking after us so well, our apologies to the Barman for his aching arm with all the cocktails he had to make ? we loved them, you made them so well so we wanted more ?Thank you to Emily(I think) and the other blonde lady for being such wonderful humans ??On behalf of us mums that don’t get out much, thank you to BAHA for putting up with us and doing it which such warmth, fun and attentiveness?? 100% recommend.Dietary restrictions: They were so professional and informed of all dietary requirements for our group, we felt safe in their knowledge xx

Having lived in the Lake District for 8 years I’ve only ever been to Baha for drinks. I’ve always wanted to try their food so I went last night (9th of October). The way the food is described on the menu is certainly inviting and everything sounded delicious. I chose the bubble bobble jumbo red shrimp. when this arrived at the table I was not expecting a bowl of chips with 4/5 battered prawns on top of them. but I thought okay presentation not great but it might taste okay. The shrimp was flavourless. The chips were nice but on the menu it states it comes with torched lime and black and white sesame seeds. Which neither of these were to be seen. I did not realise this until I left. Anyways, I expressed to the waitress that for the price of this it’s not really worth the money. And she replied “this is the Lake District, it’s expensive here”. Which I am fully aware of I don’t expect a cheap meal in the lakes. But why should that make the quality less? She apologised and looked me up and down like what I was saying was outrageous ? I work in the hospitality trade myself and have done for many years so I always like to give FOH staff the benefit of the doubt as I know it’s a hard job dealing with the public. The gentleman in the white shirt was very pleasant and his customer service was excellent. The girl however could do with some lessons on how to speak to people ?. Anyways, I feel like I’ve been cheated out of £80 for poor quality food. I hope you will take these comments into consideration ?

What a fantastic night at Baha restaurant! The food was hot, delicious and all came out together for 16 people. Andrea and all the staff were absolutely amazing! Because we were a big group we sent our food orders in a couple of weeks before. The number of people changing several times! Andrea had to change the restaurant seating arrangement so many times I lost count. Even the food order changed two days before we were due to arrive! But nothing was too much trouble. On the night everything was perfect even there steaks we ordered to be cooked medium rare and they all came out perfectly. We were impressed as how we like our steak we told them two weeks earlier! Everyone said their food was delicious so I’m surprised at some of the reviews. After dinner we went downstairs to the large bar area and had delicious cocktails danced to great music. We didn’t need to go anywhere else, everything we wanted was there at Baha. We did have a cheeky cocktail earlier in the day in Fizzy Tart which were amazing ? Thank to everyone who works there it was my daughters hen weekend and you made it extra special. We are a group age 30 something to 60 something and it was perfect for all of us.
