Went here at the weekend and were very pleased all round. Very good service and the food was absolutely delicious. We even ordered pittas afterwards to lap up the sauces from the dishes. Fantastic place. We will always try and book here whenever we come to the lakes.

Fantastic meal! Food was delicious, drinks were lovely (definitely recommend the red sangria!) and service was first class. I would definitely recommend.

Great food, excellent service, would highly recommend. Couldn’t pick which of our choices was best, as they all tasted excellent. Lovely restaurant, homely and welcoming atmosphere.

First time we have visited Tapios and certainly won't be the last. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Windermere.

Food is beautiful. Generous portions for the size and definitely recommend 2-3 plates each! Fresh, and super tasty. Meat is tender and not dry! Staff are lovely and welcoming and has a cosy atmosphere. One only thing to mention is if the booking system would be improved. We tried so many times/ways to book and ended up walking in for a booking and was told there was no tables past 6.45pm. then watched a table of 4 and 2 walk in around 7.30pm. Bit strange if the restaurant was full for bookings that don't seem to exist. Honestly, don't want the booking way to disservice that it's a very good restaurant.

We went there twin on a recent trip to Windermere. We were not disappointed as both times the meal was superb. Meatballs really good. The staff were knowledgeable and really friendly. Good indication of how good this is, is it was packed on a Wednesday night in November

Enjoyed our visit to this tapas restaurant in Windermere. Managed to get booked in at last minute on Saturday night. Warm & cosy atmosphere. Service was very good and food was delicious.

Lovely food great gluten free options except dessert ? service was great staff very friendly. Could slow the dishes down a little too much came out at once. Overall a great experienceDietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and there are loads of options except dessert

We ordered 5 tapas dishes and honestly, it was oven ready meal quality. It's a shame, as the service staff did a great job and were attentive.Potato Bravas is not roasted potatoes with spicy mayo, any cream sauce was clearly not cooked with the protein of choice, watery and made ahead of time, anything fried was anaemic with a basic bottled sauce.Honestly not sure why this place has reviewed highly, anyone with a rudimentary culinary understanding would criticise their sloppy tapas offerings.

The staff were very friendly even the skeleton sitting at the back table no reflection on slow service which was quick and efficient. We had a selection of 7 tapas all of which were excellent and combined with the pleasant ambiance of the nice decor led to a first class dinning experience.

We have recently visited Tapios for dinner - it was absolutely lovely - we had a lovely window seat and we had great service from start to finish - the food is great and everything tasted really good - we particularly loved the tempura prawns and the meatballs - delicious - the place has a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed our evening celebrating there - thanks to everyone at Tapios for a lovely evening and also for the great food - when we come back to Windermere we will definitely return for more Tapas

This is one of those amazing finds that you want everyone to know about so the business stays busy - but that you also want to keep to yourself as it’s so amazing. The setting inside has a relaxed Mediterranean feel, with the delicious smell of the food straight away. The menu has a great array of delicious options available, smaller than other Tapas we have been too, but enough choice to get a decent meal. They recommend 2-3 dishes per person, and I think this is enough too, with some breads and or rice… nice And for wine drinkers, I also recommend the Rioja Red, very smooth and fruity, a little too easy to drink ;) The guys serving were all really friendly, attentive, and I have to say, so very handsome (sorry I know it should be about the food but they really were very handsome hehehe) We even spoke with the owners father (I think he said he was his father) which was very nice and interesting to hear about the business and clearly how proud he is of his son and his business. A great restaurant, delicious food and drink, in a great friendly and welcoming setting. An absolute must for tapas lovers!

Best tapas we have had in England, the lamb dish melts in the mouth, meatballs are so tasty, and the garlic prawns are beautiful. Only dog friendly sitting outside, but it was lashing down, and they had a roof over us with a heater on, and it was still fine.
