Regular customer of this chippy but won’t be going again. Just picked up two fish specials (my regular order). The food was luke warm, chips were dry and fish was more batter than fish. Buck up Kingstons, you have always had a really good reputation in the town, you are letting yourselves down.

Fish X2, large chips, peas and curry sauce. £20.50 , what a waste of money. Gutted.The fish was absolutely disgusting, Cod?? About 2mm thick fish and chewy, not thick and flaky as it should be. The other fish was slightly better but the batter was greasy soggy mess. Bag of soggy chips that was all stuck together and large peas and curry sauce only just did two people. I wish I'd of taken the fish back to be honest it was that bad.

Just been for a chippy lunch ordered 2 medium cod and peas. The fish was virtually non-existent I've seen thicker cream crackers! And it was colder than a polat bears goolies. All this from a chippy I've been going in for years and I personally known the owner markos for years! Since markos moved back to Cyprus this place has hit the buffers. Come on markos this no way to run a business. If the fish portions were better I would gladly pay more! Bring back the good old days it makes good business sense. I have just found out that there is a new manager/ owner no wonder its gone to the dogs! Come back markos all is forgiven!

Called in for medium fish, chips and mushy peas for our lunch after a walk around Codnor Park Reservoir. Fish was the best I've had in a long while. Really enjoyed our lunch. If we're ever back in the area we'll call again.

This used to be the best chippy round here but after today experience I won’t be going again. The 3 meats was diabolical, the Donna meat I swear had bone in ? and for the price I expected better, sould do a mini one because that small had never bin

The food was ok but no better than other chip shops. We had a extra large fish and chips which cost nearly £12 the fish was about a standard large fish from anywhere else. There was a small portion of chips and 1 small carton of peas. We bought it to share as it was so expensive but there wasn't enough food to do this. 1 small sausage and chips with Peas was £5.30 No wonder the guy behind the counter was smiling. This place is too expensive for me so I won't be returning.
