Wildhive Callow Hall is an attractive Victorian country house hotel with a particularly impressive modern glazed dining area. The place has an air of style and is quite eclectic. Lunch was generally good and the service attentive. The grounds are stunning and on a sunny day the bucolic panoramic views are superb. The unsurfaced car park a short walk down the drive from the hotel was somewhat muddy.

Beautiful, peaceful and delicious. The service and food are extraordinary, the location is perfect for hikes around the Peak District, and the property itself is stunning. We will certainly return.

Stayed one night in a Hive, very cosy and clean with very good tea/coffee, crisps and snacks in room. Dined in the evening & had very tasty Artic Char, and cheese board. Breakfast was large Granola with fruit with lovely pot of tea. Sunday was Sirloin and was best roast beef I've ever had. Flavours of all the food was perfect and very well presented. Stay was most enjoyable, staff seemed very professional, attentive and polite and was very relaxed. Really liked the log files in the rooms and the buggy ride if required. Atmosphere and ambience was very relaxing.Rooms: very clean and nicely decorated

Great location. Great food. Good service. Beware the prices though: £16 for 2 small scallops! £40 for a steak then I have to pay and additional £6 for the chips. Of course I don't have to eat there and at these prices it will be sometime before I do.
Lovely location, excellent well presented food, imaginatively cooked. Service impeccableFood & drinks: Excellent range of wine, beer and cocktailsNoteworthy details: Service

Was a lovely trip to Wildhive, service was great with Porters to take you to your treehouses. Rooms were lovely and homely with some great details such as the robes, Nespresso machine and a torch for walking around at night. Only downside we encountered with the room was Chromecast not working. Finding this out at 8/9pm we didn’t want to ask for support with this, but there were apps on the smart tv for us to use instead which was fine!!For the price, it would be nice to have breakfast included for example but overall was a great indulgent stay.

We were treated to a Christmas lunch by our two children who had been previously and told us how nice it was.The meal was lovely and the service was brilliant. All the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The prices were a little more than we expected but well worth it in the endWe will be returning at some point soon.

Had a lovely anniversary meal here yesterday. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent too and the atmosphere was very festive. The house wine was lovely and the cocktails were amazing. Will return!
