Had 2 dinners here while staying this way. Both huge and really nice.The halloumi sticks are unreal!!Parking: Plenty of parking. Some people park like Muppets which can cause issues, but otherwise all good.

To be honest. It's not our usual to use when we go to Ashbourne. We found this Chip Shop on Google maps . The food we had was really ? nice. Staff were polite and friendly. Will be going back next time we are over that way ?

Came here after a hike in Dovedale. Lovely staff and I have to say the portions are huge! Very generous with the fish and chips, we were all absolutely stuffed. Will definitely come again when we're around the area.

Lovely people. Portions are generous for the prices. The food is lovely. Their chicken is way less greasier than Benny's. The chips are really delicious and the kebabs, especially the mixed ones are just devine. It's always busy and I notice a lot of lorry drivers pass through blocking the roads to get their food, can't blame them.....Kid-friendliness: I've seen the staff always offering lollipops to the children, plus they're just generally friendly people.

My wife and I just been here. Chips were soggy and raw. We filled half of one tray with chips full of black bits. We have fish, chips and peas weekly from our local in Nottinghamshire. Superb quality consistently. Wouldn't come here again.

Wow, just wow. Freshly cooked ENORMOUS fish & overly generous portions of chips. Can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight.Don't know what happened to last reviewer re soggy batter, our fish was absolutely spot on.Chef broke our fish, and gave us a complimentary spring roll which was over and above what he had to do. Unfortunately we were so stuffed we didn't get to try it!Well worth the visit, thank you ?Parking: Plenty of parking
