Went to the black horse last night.what a luvly place.locals should support this pub more.BASS on tap.absolutly spot on.we had two meals.lasange very very nice.and steak and ale pie.bloody luvly.and trimmings. Shall be going again this week.march2024 here again locals are supporting this place now.bass still very good.food luvly and good service.back again on Sunday 24th March.Parking: Room for 40 cars

Called in with our dog on the off chance, ordered 2 Sunday roasts, and have to say they were absolutely superb, freshly cooked, and perfectly presented. Bar staff were all polite and welcoming, will definitely return.

I hadn’t visited this place for many years, even though I’m local. Went as a family and I was really happy with the appearance inside of the place, the decor was excellent & the food looked and tasted delicious. Everything home made & presented beautifully. I shall be back ?
Ate, was served great atmosphere. Drank and smoked as was outside. By the river.

Very disappointing. Menu mixed up with old menu so my husband and I had 2 different menus. The food was bland and uninspiring. A few peas with the scampi...not even a salad or choice of vegetables. Our table was in a dingy corner with one of the lights above broken. The menu looked nothing like the one seen on the website. Overpriced bland food. Beer was good however.

Excellent food. Really tasty, prepared by what must be a very talented chef. Very large car park with splendid views of surrounding countryside. Looking forward to another visit next time we’re over this way.
