Bar • “Called in here for lunch on our way to Manchester Airport. A great find. Could have had two courses for £20 but, as we have to take our clothes off (to sunbathe and swim) when we are in Croatia, could not be tempted with a pud. Instead chose the rump steak sandwich, tiger bread, skinny fries and an Asian salad. Steak cooked to perfection, everything absolutely delicious. £12?.Lovely lady called Tara served us. Decor great. If we are passing again, will definitely call in and have another steak sandwich?”

Bar • “Great pub with a nice atmosphere, really good honest food. Best roast I have had in a long time; thick cuts of meat, the Yorkshire Pud was fluffy and gravy was tasty. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Would definitely return.”
