This is now called Jordan cafe. It's a great place. Very clean, friendly, reasonable prices and great coffee. If you've been staying away, go back - it's really good ???

Now called Jordans Cafe. Popped in for a quick coffee and Bakewell tart. Quick and pleasant

I was going to give this 5 stars because of the sheer amazement i had when i ate a pizza that was cremated and yet still so raw. Swimming in more grease than a chip pan.

We came to this restaurant as it was advertised as gluten free and Italian. We were immediately “greeted” by 3 teenagers who were lackadaisically changing the sign for the building, we approached unsure if it was even open. We asked and they confirmed it was but they mostly seemed focused on chatting and ignored us as we walked into the tiny restaurant. The owner was sat on his laptop and informed us they were moving to a new location. We confirmed what they had for GF options and they told us the pizza was the only option. We ordered a GF pizza, pasta, and a lasagna. The teenager employees bemoaned their needing to do work and slowly made their way back to the kitchen where they laughed and joked around without much haste towards actually making our food. One of the employees mimicked themselves drinking the “white sauce” in the fridge and made gagging noises implying the food was gross/inedible before letting the owner know it was old/had gone off. He let us know the lasagna could be made without the sauce and we agreed apprehensively. The staff continued to complain and whine about having to make food and continued to loudly proclaim the process would take a lot of time. At around this point a staff member made it clear they didn’t have any wax paper. The owner asked her to go and get some from the store and she whined and complained more about how long it would take and eventually left to go to the store and get wax paper. This whole time the owner is sitting next to us explaining that the restaurant is in complete disrepair because they are moving to a bigger location. In my head I am concerned as to how this business has trouble accommodating 3 orders and no one else, managing a bigger customer base seems a fantastical endeavour. The girl sent to get wax paper returns at a wandering pace to let the owner know she couldn’t find any at the store. He proceeds to let us know 2 of the 3 items we ordered cannot be completed because of this apparently integral kitchen item.We got our refund and left.We will not be returning.Dietary restrictions: The menu implied gluten pasta was at some point available but the staff informed us they did not have it. Gluten free pizza was the only option offered.

Excellent authentic thin crust Italian pizza, made by an owner who really cares about the quality of his dough and traditional skills like hand stretched bases. Friendly service with a sense of humour. Will be back!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian selection, marinaras vegan as standardDietary restrictions: Gluten free dough available

Terrible service. The pizza is not tasty with some not fresh products. There is no toilet and no way to wash your hands. From the range of drinks, only cola and orangata. We are disappointed, do not recommend!

Went in about 2pm on a Thursday so it was quiet. Only a small place but had a wonderful, welcoming staff, quick service and the pizza was served fast, got and was delicious.

The table next to us complained that the pasta was bland and i thought they were just old, grumpy and fussy. But i have to agree that the pasta was bland and tasteless. I finished mine and partner left most of it. Staff asked if everything was ok but didn’t to disappoint them further. We had creamy mushroom pasta. I believe it could easily improve if they add chicken to it and also more/thicker sauce. Would be willing to pay more for an increase in quality. The garlic bread was very tasty however!

Real Italian food . We often visit Bakewell and this is the first time at this restaurant and definitely not the last . From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff . After looking at the great value menu we took their recommendation of an Italian Pasta dish . We enjoyed a drink while the meal was being prepared. The food came and I can honestly say it was one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. An Italian classic dish at a great value price .

Visited Ricci,s November 20th thought it would be a nice place to get a pizza as we were on coach trip. Unfortunately the service was terrible. Waited 45 mins for a pizza and when my wife asked about it, she was told it would be going in the oven in a minute. When we finally received the pizza it was undercooked. Other customers were complaining about the length of time it was taking to get their orders ready as well

Best pizza ever .. Great service good prices.. tastes delicious.. owner was Italian and pizza authentic .. would highly recommend.

YES YES

Ordered a large margarita it took at least 30+ mins to arrive. The service was poor. When the food did arrive, it was about as big as my hand. The cheese on the pizza fell off as soon as I picked it up. Overall it was a bad experience. I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.

Ordered a takeaway and rocked up to collect it. A great start as the pizzas were made fresh and ready to be cooked. Of the two young cooks, one seemed to be a little stressed and to be honest wasn’t inspiring too much confidence that the the food would be good, however, the pizzas and pasta dishes were great. The large pizza is 10” as it says on the menu. Maybe others were expecting a 12”? It is quite clear though. Pizza dough is amazing.
