Enjoy Wetherspoons Ian Hobson.Bang atmosphere is second to none. Bang has the most creative upto date , varying board of beers from around the country supporting smaller craft breweries that matches if not beats many city centre giants, the food is inspiring and refreshing to see such creativity in dishes that give depth of flavour and taste to every dish and mouthful rather than the bland “brown” food which can be served at other “brown beer” establishments. Credit due to the Bang team for thinking outside the box and creating something inventive and very very special.

Really nice staff and pleasant environment, but the beer and food choices did not appeal to my tastes. 13 draft beers but no traditional brews, and the food choices were trying a little too hard to be different.

Had drinks only, but the bar has to be commended for the variety of beers and ciders available. Lovely Raspberry, Pomegranate and Cherry Berliner Weiss on at the moment - all at standard pint prices. The food menu looks amazing and I hope to return at some point to sample

We absolutely love Bang In Belper. The food is great, drinks are brilliant, and the atmosphere can get like no other when the live music gets started.The owner Andrew is always friendly and welcoming; much like the rest of the staff. If you're in Belper, and "The Bang" is open- it's 100% worth a visit!

Ate here last night and can’t wait to go back!Had onion bhaji starter which has now ruined all others I’ve ever had as this one was perfection. Then the bento bowl, WOW! The flavours were phenomenal. The others in our group had kebabs which were also thoroughly enjoyed. Tried the Beer Sting cider too which has lovely honey notes. The staff were so friendly and attentive too. Make sure you book because as soon as a table empties it is taken by the next group.Get me back there a.s.a.p.

Avoid Bang in Belper at all costs folks. Extremely rude staff. We were on a table reserved for a group at 16:45 when we were asked to move at 16:35. Their reason? Because the other party had paid £150 to reserve it ? Surely they could wait 10 minutes. It wouldn't happen in a restaurant. I suffer badly with anxiety and depression and despite my partner telling the staff this they continued to be rude. Congratulations for making feel worse at Christmas. Save your hard earnt money and go to Rumours instead, staff are a lot more friendly. Never a problem at Belper Tap, they were a lovely couple.

Visited Bang for the first time tonight 01/12/23 - what a gem! Great range of alcohol & low/no alcohol drinks with enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff who really know their stock to offer advice & recommendations. Food delicious, if massive portions - took a v large doggy box home. Waiting staff top notch. Atmosphere friendly, welcoming & inclusive of range of ages & people alone, couples or in groups. It's a tiny tardis that packs a lot inside; noticed access was a bit tight but staff were super-accommodating. Definite recommend, definite return.

This is honestly my favourite place to be in Belper, I love the food, the beer and the vibe! Had lunch here with my family today and we all absolutely loved it, especially my choice which was the special of the day! I was particularly impressed with my 0.5% IPA (I was driving, unfortunately!) Thank you to the team, BangIn Belper inspires me ♥️

Last minute decision to FINALLY visit here. Welcoming staff, managed to find us a space (make sure you book!) and got us our food out in time for us to make the cinema. Food was amazing, really tasty, healthy and big portions. My partner had the special and said it's the best things he's eaten in ages. We had the £35 offer so great value for money. Gutted we had to leave as there was live music on. Beer selection was also brilliant, be good to visit just for drinks also.
