The Bridge Inn is a beautiful old characterful building set in lovely surroundings with the river flowing right at the side. Both times we've visited recently the staff have offered a warm welcome and shown us to our table quickly. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pie! It was fairly busy on the most recent visit but we didn't have to wait long to be served and the food came piping hot. Thank you, we will be back!

I went with a friend and we both had sausage and mash from the lunchtime menu and it was delicious. We followed it with a trio of ice cream which was also delicious especially the salted caramel which I have not tasted before and that was divine ! The service i sometimes a bit slowerthan ideal but the food was really good.
Absolutely brilliant meal had a starter and main course, I recommend the Sea Bass dish, excellent.Parking: Plenty of space, brilliant Parking facilities.

I went for lunch with my sister. Having Type 2 Diabetes it is very hard to find establishments that allow for this. The first thing I liked was that on all the menu's it gives you the opportunity to see both the calories and carbs which is extremely important for people like me. I ordered scampi and chips and asked if I could leave the peas off explaining my situation and was asked if I would like a light salad with it instead. The food was amazing my sister and I both thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were really helpful and courteous at all times. On the way out I noticed a small branch tree dedicated to cancer which you could hang messages on. Fighting cancer myself I thought this was really special and wonderful gesture leaving a message of my own. Will certainly be back.Dietary restrictions: Type 2 Diabetes
