It was a nice caffe. The staff were attentive and the food was nice. As a visitor to Belper I had it recommended and I could tell it was a frequent amongst the residents.

DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE, food took 50 minutes to arrive and when it did it was abysmal, when we asked if we could get butter on the sausage cob the owner had a melt down, screamed at my my 72 year old grandma, demanded we leave the shop without a refund and called us b*stards

Went here with my daughter and saw Greek gyros on the menu . When it. Was served the chicken was tasty but it was served on a tortilla and the salad contained red cabbage just didn’t resemble a gyros and the chips were overdone hard and tasteless. and I asked forDiet Coke and was served a Pepsi my doughier asked for juice and was given a fruit shoot. The owner seemed friendly but the overall experience was dissaointing .

Called in for a mid afternoon meal as my partner and I were out in Belper shopping. I've never been in this cafe before and on first sight, it looked clean and tidy and I really liked the decor. However, the food did not leave much to be desired. We were the only couple in the place and food seemed to take ages to come. I had Eggs Benedict and it was served on a toasted cob (should be a muffin?) and the worst part about it was that the cob was soaking wet through as the poached egg had not been drained of water before placing it on the bread, making it inedible. Another thing that was very off putting was a gentleman constantly walking up and down the restaurant talking loudly on his phone. I can only presume this was the owner. I felt it was quite rude to keep walking past our table, especially when we were trying to eat mediocre food. Not the nicest of experiences, and I definitely won't be returning or recommending unfortunately.

Three of us walked in on a Monday lunchtime for an all-day breakfast. The meals were very reasonably priced, portions were generous, and service was friendly and efficient. Coffees were very nice. Overall a pleasant lunchtime experience indeed.
