It's a shame that the business is closing this month.

I called by for a quick breakfast sandwich takeaway before work. I wanted to spend at a local independent business and try somewhere new. I wish I hadn’t picked here… I ordered a sausage sandwich for £3 and chucked it straight in the bin after one bite. Chewy microwaved pre-cooked sausages on cheap white bread with a measly bit of ketchup. I wouldn’t even pay 50p for that. The owners should be ashamed of this… if this is the usual standard of food I’d expect them to be closed down soon.

Called in for lunch today at this cute little tearoom adjacent to the railway. Unfortunately the only gluten free option on the menu was soup of the day however no gluten free bread was available : full price for this was charged. Quiche and coleslaw was ordered for non GF and found that this was okay. This in mind with a can of Pepsi and a cup of tea all came to an unbelievable £18, which for what we received we thought was very over priced.

Shocking I think 90% of it was microwaved And they serve breakfast on very small plates toast was ok and drinks where ok I understand it is very hard to make money at the moment but there was absolutely no effort in that breakfast. even the small plates where wet Tined chopped tomatoes where not reduced or seasoned and the bacon must have be reheated as it had hard parts

Came across this cafe by chance and was very pleasantly surprised. Will dry visit again if we're in Belper. Thank you very much for a lovely light lunch.

Had heard good reports of the food on offer from this little café. To celebrate our wedding anniversary I ordered an afternoon takeaway tea for two. Well what a tea! Enough for four and a good selection of sandwiches, scones (with cream and jam), cake, fancies, grapes, srawberries. Would definitely recommend this cafė and we can't wait to try out a sit down meal there.

I visited Railway Tearooms with my family in June, for a small cooked breakfast and loose leaf tea. The breakfast was beautifully cooked: sausage, bacon, egg, tomatoes, beans and as a separate addition mushrooms, and served with equally lovely service. Seated on the top floor with a view over the historic Belper railway. What’s not to love about Belper tearooms! 10/10, Clare should be very proud of the cafe and her brilliant team. Will definitely be visiting again soon :)

I went with a friend to this tea room . All seemed ok until I got half way through my sandwich to find the bread was mouldy. I had to spit out part of the sandwich . I informed the staff and got my money back . They were very apologetic but I will not go there again
