Visited recently for dinner. I ordered vegetable biryani but it was somewhat disappointing, the portion was a massive dish of rice with a very small portion of vegetable curry. The rice was very dry and overcooked, so sticky, not individual grains that I would expect. The curry was very tasty though. The waiter advised us to order a naan bread which we did - way too much carbs, couldn't finish it. We ordered a couple of poppadoms each as a starter and the price was shown on the menu as a price per poppadom, but the price for the accompanying pickle tray was several pounds which was definitely not listed on the menu. It wasn't a rip off but I would prefer they were 100% transparent with pricing. Staff were attentive, restaurant is clean and well lit. Have been lots of times in the past and food was better, but maybe I just made the wrong choice this time.

Ordered a takeaway for 10 and food was ready on the dot as well as being great quality. Service was friendly and I would definitely recommend to others. Great idea to give 15% for cash which on large orders gives great value for money.

Very lovely meals and the portions are generous, Friendly staff happy to help the service is amazing ❤️❤️❤️. I would definitely recommend eating at the Elaichi ?

Top drawer Bangladeshi restaurant, offering a lot of tasty dishes, some of which you wouldn't find at other restaurants of this style. The service is second to none, really friendly, and gives great advice on the menu. The food is really superb, I cannot fault it, and cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. Nice to see a lot of veggie options for those who are vegetarian too. Would heartedly recommend it.
