It's always busy at the King's Head around early evening for food, really best to book. The range of food available at reasonable prices is fine for pub dining, and the special offers are a bonus. Service is very good, usually quite quick even at peak times, with lovely staff who make ordering and service a great experience. Portion sizes are above average but I and other diners seem to clear our plates every time. Very good value for money and highly recommended - a perfect venue for a timely meal before visiting the Buxton Opera House, with plenty of parking on the doorstep.

from our experience we go quìte regular as the staff are very helpfuĺ and pleasent all the food is freshly cooked to order nice variety value for money and a nice clean plate when yòu have finished your meal as the food is great give it a try to see for youŕself ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?

The food was excellent although when i told the bar staff that we were going outside for a cigarette and our drinks were still on the table, when we came back in oyr drinks had been taken. Other than that it was fine.

Only called in for a quick drink, so I can't say a lot. The pub was divided into two halves. One for dining, one bar area. Bar was selling Cask ale, with pool, darts and Big screen sports TV. Will call again when in the area.
The food was nice, but it was spoilt with 2 different menus on the table and 1 was cheaper than the other, we was aquised of bringing old menu in and we've never stepped in that pub before. They wouldn't listen to what we was saying as they said we'll that's the old menus, sorry its what we picked up off the table. It was a very big let down and they wouldn't change the prices, so please be careful on what you pay?? The menus was on the table and should have been charged to that menu, sorry you let yourself down and 4 dissatisfied with the different prices, we look at it like this you should have let us pay what we saw then remove the old menus

First time I been for a meal .couldnt fault it. Even my 3yrs old grandson who as Austim felt very calm here.Kid-friendliness: My grandson loved it here. Kids meals are cheap. School holiday they do kids meal for £1 if adult buys a meal
