Good hot food reasonably priced and served with a smileAnd hot puds

Service was friendly, if a little slow. Cream tea was advertised as a warm fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. It wasn't warm and it was served with whipped fresh cream. The condiments are budget supermarket brands and the decor is looking very tired.

Had a Full English Breakfast but would be best described as average. Claims to be all home made but you can literally hear the microwave dinging away in the background. Sausages weren’t bad but the Hash brown was cold and soggy. Cafe is rather small - not sure if the staff are aware that customers can hear all their conversations and them moaning at each other.

called in for lunch on our way to a stay in Hartington. Nice place, helpful staff. Only ordered basic foods, which where lovely. Only downside of our trip was being sat near the counter we heard all the staff where talking about! In future maybe keep their voices down or do it when nobody is in!

Just ideal for a lunch. Nice freshly prepared food and didn't have to wait long.

Visited this lovely little cafe today. Staff were pleasant and welcoming, food was very nice and reasonably priced. Dog friendly as well.

Very disappointing overall. Waited over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Menu claims that all is homemade, however all evidence suggests that the food served was tinned. My daughter, as a celiac, asked for a gluten free meal and it was presented to her with a bread roll.

Best cheese + onion toasties evvvvvver and the coffee is amazeballs
The food I had today was nice except the veg sausages aren't my cup of tea maybe for a full vegetarian, restaurant made so should be nice for 100%vegetarian soul ?The only thing I'm curious about is their hot water is £1 fair enough they have to use electric for that & it helps me to be mindful about it. I could order a tea but I had caffeine already and I don't do well when I'm overloaded with caffeine. But I won't spend £1 for hot water so I stick to their free cold tap water ?Breakfast today wasn't a plan it was just experiment for myself.Vegetarian options: The very sausage isn't my cup of tea but for full very heart it would probably be wonderful for them ?

Whenever we visit Buxton this is our first port of call for a brew and teacake. Often use it for lunch too. The staff are always friendly and the toilet facilities are clean. Tea and coffee is tasty and the food never disappoints. Good value for money too.
