Nice atmosphere and friendly. Been before and had no problem, but today was different . I know they were busy and thin on the ground for staff by the looks of it. My cream cheese and bacon bagel was Virtually cheese less . Looked like it had replaced the butter with just a thin scraping . My friends scrambled egg was very watery and when we finally got our food our drinks were cold . Very disappointed today, we won’t be going back .

Just been to Cafe Nellie to start off my dad's 70th birthday celebrations and what a fantastic start to the day it was. We all had scrambled egg, three of us with salmon and one with bacon, three coffees and a pot of tea. We all agreed that the scrambled egg was the best we have ever had, the generous portion of salmon and the lovely hot toast made it perfect. Staff were also very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend but probably worth booking a table as I know from previous visits it does get busy. Will definitely be back ?????

Wonderful atmosphere with genuine friendly service and food and drink of a high standard. All staff go out of their way to look after you.Also great venue for special occasions and close to the town centre.We are regulars for coffee at weekends and love it! Highly recommended.

Celebrated my 70th Birthday with 22 friends at Cafe Nellie's yesterday. We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Tracey and Katie decorated the cafe beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble. My friends and I had a truly lovely afternoon, an occasion to remember. I cannot recommend Cafe Nellie's highly enough.
