The restaurant owner's steal the staff's tips, so if you think that you're tipping the waiting staff for their hard work, it's all going in the owner's fat pockets (who think they are the chip shop mafia), even the cash tips.It's shameful on the part of the owners and sad for the employees who are being paid NMW.If the owners are reading this, stop stealing from your employees, it's disgusting and SHAMEFUL!

Lovely staff, sang for my son for his birthday and friendly service. Food was great and we sat in the boat seating so was like being at the seaside! Will definitely return. Make sure you park in the restaurant car park and put your reg in the iPad on arrival to avoid any parking charges.

Ordered gluten free haddock and chips to take away. Short wait for order but delicious food was worth waiting for! Recommend a visit. I used this handy food outlet again for a gluten free take out meal. Staff were friendly and chatty!Jan 2023. Ordered another takeaway, gluten free. Ordered gluten free fish & chips in box with mushy peas & 2 sausages for my husband. We shared the chips.November 2023Nothing changed, still very tasty takeaway meals.February 2024 still lovely freshly cooked, gluten free meals!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free batter used and separate fryer to cook chips and gluten free products.Parking: Disabled parking and ordinary parking in front of building, overflow parking around back.

Excellent food. The fish tasted fresh and is cooked well. Unfortunately, the prices have skyrocketed over the past couple of years, which makes it substantially less affordable and less value for money.
