What a lovely atmosphere! Came here with my mum for Sunday lunch and we were both very pleased! I was able to have a smaller Sunday lunch plate (children’s) too! We both had the gammon and beef of which was delightful and the parsnips were cooked to perfection! Vegetables came separately which suited me, so I didn’t feel overfaced with food on my plate (plus I was able to have what I liked on my plate rather than eat around veg I didn’t like) Thank you!
This has been the hub point of socialising for many many years it is absolutely agonising to see what Fine & Country Inns (FCIG) are doing to the heart of our community. After the abrupt change in management all the locals and regulars were ecstatic to see Fallon appointed as the general manger. This has been long overdue and something she has the enthusiasm and fire to do, a young fresh set of eyes and ideas. The food was very disappointing and nothing l like the pictures shown on the reviews The chips and onion rings were burnt and when returned for fresh ones the manager wasn’t very happy and brought a replacement but they were not much better and looked like they had been cooked in old oilAfter paying £15 per meal we will not be returning and would advise people not to waste their money
