We have come back for a visit to Chesterfield 26 years after moving away and found the Shipon Tandoori still there and still run by the same nice people we had to try it again. And we were not disappointed - thank you for the wonderful chicken muglai which is still soo good.

I have always love this place. The best by far!!! ?And we have tried a LOT of curries all over the country/world!Recently, Sham has been away, I have tried a few curries elsewhere, and had decided not to eat curries anymore, I just wasn't enjoying them...Now he's back, I decided to have another, and wow!!!!!! A MA ZING!!!!The taste!!!! ??? it can't be beaten.After the floods on Friday, they bent over backwards to serve the public, and cooked by candlelight!!! ???Sham even remembers exactly what I like and suggests dishes to my taste or advises when I order something he knows will be too hot etc.Thanks Shipon!!!! The BEST!!!!! XParking: Car park opposite. Perfect

Tried Shipon for the first time this evening, and i'm glad I did. Definitely the best Indian takeaway I've had around chesterfield. The food quality was great and hot, and the price was great compared to others around. Will definitely be returning!
