Came to the peak district for a long weekend and found this gem of a place, food was so good that we didnt go anywhere else and ate here all weekend, the best vegan burger we've ever tasted, lovely food, friendly owner and a great atmosphere, we'll definitely be returning when we come back to visit.

Went for a family meal and we all really enjoyed it (even the non vegans). Had a mix of burgers, salads and pies with a selection of sides. Everything was delicious and full of flavour and the service was perfect. The drinks were also reasonably priced and the desserts were simple but great. Will definitely be back!

We've been to Vegged twice now. Once for Sunday roasts and once for a Friday eve dinner. Both visits were fantastic. The food was gorgeous and high quality and the staff super friendly. The puddings are also amazing ? I would recommend this place to vegans and non vegans!Vegetarian options: All the menu is vegan

Superb Sunday lunch. Both the mushroom pie and nut roast were delicious. Great roasties and roast carrots. Smooth tasty mash and lashings of gravy. Lots of nicely cooked green veg. Very nice Bakewell tart for pudding with ice cream. Many thanks! .

We visited on a Sunday and had a vegan roast, which was absolutely amazing!It was our first vist and definitely won't be our last!The food was beautiful, the staff were so kind and very helpful and the building was spotlessly clean.We will definitely be back soon and would recommend Vegged to everyone.

Fabulous Sunday roast. Lovely simple menu, great quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff were really friendly. This place is a real find and will become a regular haunt. One suggestion, the decorative film in the window is pretty, but it means people can’t see in and realise what a gorgeous place it is!

Quality food for vegans and non-vegans alike. We ordered the Firehouse Burger with Pesto fries which were so unusual and so special, and the Chickpea and Apricot Salad which is one of those meals where every bite is delicious and different from the last. Full of unusual flavour combinations and perfect whether you want comfort food or something more nutritious for a really reasonable price. Lovely staff who kept the shop open when we arrived late and looked after us really well. Would 100pc recommend!

Amazing food. I had a double cheeseburger, and my partner had a burrito. Both decent sizes. We were full, although we've tried some sides as well. Battered gherkins are the best! And upgrading chips to cajun chips is a must ?

I was really excited to come here we live a little way out and was a spur of the moment thing so understandably would advise booking on a Sunday due to my own experience. The place is lovely and welcoming and although tables had bookings for 1 hour/1.5 hours ahead we were hopeful to get a lunch in after hearing such great things. Unfortunately we were told they were booked up until 2 which was a shame obviously but what was a little disheartening is that we were kind of steered towards the door after that. There were window bench seats with no reservations that were not offered to maybe stay for a drink which would have been great. So hoping to experience a little friendlier customer service next time :( we've heard such great things from friends and the town is limited for good vegan restaurants so hopefully better luck next time :/ I can understand maybe they only prepared enough food for the booked customers but 90 mins seemed enough to get us in and gone? Just a bit disappointed this time unfortunately.

First time at this lovely place and I must say it was absolutely wonderful. Service was great, friendly, helpful and fast. Food was tasty and hot, everything was really nice. Will be going again to try other dishes. Thank you guys and keep up the good work (takeaway cake was spot on ?)
