Over the last Six years my family and I have had so many lovely meals and special occasions at Browns, its a crying shame you have closed but understand your reasons and family values. We have simply just loved the food, décor and the service at Browns. Not to mention the cleanliness Every occasion from breakfast, lunch, Sunday lunch, diner, champagne breakfast and afternoon tea have been superb. Also, what fun nights the singer nights had become. All that is left to say is thank you, Karen, Phil, Tom, Louise, Georgie, Gemma, Joe, Carmen and Emma and also to all the many good waitresses in the past . We wish you all the very best for the future. xx

I've been visiting Brown's Restaurant since it opened, taking many of our family and friends over the years. It has been my absolute favourite place. The standard and quality of the food and service has been outstanding. My favourite has to be the Sunday roast. The Valentine's evening was exceptional. Lunch on. Saturday and the champagne breakfasts absolutely devine. Your final event was amazing and myself and my friend had the best time. Wishing you all the very best for the future. Yvonne Green

Fab evening with music and great food. Sadly the last service at Browns. We have enjoyed meals here over the years but hadn’t ever been for the sunday lunch although it was always on our must do list . We finally made it for the last sunday lunch service and it was absolutely divine , but just so sad we hadn’t managed to get there before then. A fantastic family run little restaurant with beautiful decor and great atmosphere. We will miss it for sure

Went with a friend for a birthday treat on the final night. What an amazing evening with fantastic food and an amazing singer. The whole evening felt very personal and you were made to feel part of the Browns family. The food was as always outstanding. Service second to none. We were singing and dancing to the end. Thank you for a wonderful night all at Browns. ????????????

As always, food outstanding, service brilliant and a real pleasure to have known you all. It's been my favourite place since I first went 6 years ago. We've taken friends and family over the years and on each occasion, it have been exceptional. We loved the valentine's dinner earlier on this year (a treat for my husband birthday is on the 13th) the final event on Saturday which was a belated birthday treat for a very dear friend. It has simply been the best Sunday Roast I've ever had. Thank you all

Went to a recent Browns event night, absolutely brilliant, lovely food and wine, fantastic atmosphere and great service. Arrived early for a drink in the bar, made to feel very welcome, had really good music during and after the meal so stayed for cocktails too. Didn’t leave until after midnight, really good night out all round !

We celebrated my mum’s 80th birthday with a large family group of 16. They couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we made the booking to ensure everything went well for this special birthday. On the day the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Everyone went above and beyond and the food was unbelievably good! I would thoroughly recommend anyone who hasn’t yet tried Brown’s to do so as soon as possible and we will most definitely be returning very soon.

After pandemic travel delays and previous two years of unsuccessful attempts to get a reservation. On a recent visit to our home town we had a traditional Sunday Dinner with family at Browns. The facility, staff and food were all first class, well worth the wait and flight from Canada!
