Came back again after few months, no table booked, restaurant packed and despite that, we were accommodated to the bar area. Waited a bit for the food, but it was worth the wait. Staff friendly as usual, fish and chips still one of the best but I would also recommend the gammon steak: really juicy and tasty. We will definitely come back !
We went on a busy Saturday evening.. We had booked a table, as we had been told we needed to book well in advance. It was loud & busy when we arrived at 7pm, we were shown to our table with our 2 friends. We read the menu & waited to be served. Unfortunately, we were unaware that the food & drink had to be ordered from the bar, we assumed the orders would be taken at the table. Friendly welcome on a busy Monday night at this popular establishment, just a few hundred yards off the main road in Littleover.Good selection of well kept ales available.Very busy on the food front, most tables in the "restaurant" side were occupied.Good Beer Guide and Cask Marque accredited too.
