We organised a wake for my brother. The organisation went very well and the staff in the Folly were exceptionally helpful. We had a large number of people attend and the catering was very well done with additional chips coming out as needed.The setting is lovely and we will consider the venue for future events.A big thank you from our family.

Lured in by the 30% off deal, which has a list of exclusions a Russian embassy would be proud of.When trying to choose a meal that the deal actually applied to, the curt young waitress put me in my place with a well rehearsed "it's in the terms & conditions" which I had failed to study & commit to memory, so bottom of the class for me.The Chicken BLT with "chunky chips" is actually 2 slithers of chicken, a piece of bird table bacon rind with french fries. The curry was bland with a tough piece of naan. The 2 child meals were very good.Of our 4 meals only 1 qualified for the deal.2 stars salvaged by the pleasant young lad who brought our meals & took payment, asking, as trained, what our plans were for the rest of the day.With summer approaching, we'll be regular visitors with our grand kids to Markeaton park, so we're looking for a nice lunch location, this isn't it.
