Visited on a busy Friday night as a family of four. The staff were working really hard to keep on top of turning tables as there were lots of people who seemed to want to be in and out as fast as possible. We were looked after by Paul who was brilliant, he chatted to us and engaged with our children and made our visit really enjoyable.

First arrived to the bar to order breakfast and was ignored for over 10 minutes whilst the managers finished a very personal conversation. The only time I spoken to a server was to bring me a review to fill in after 45 minutes inside the building she was covering the full restaurant and most of the time the bar whilst the other two staff was no where to be seen. The food has recently got alot better

We had a great experience when we went for our dinner, we had a lovely carvery. The staff were exceptional especially our server Sapphire who was really helpful and friendly in sorting us a table that was adequate for my needs as I am in a wheelchair. Nothing was too much trouble. Our carver Kyle was really friendly and helpful too. We will definitely go back again.

Was our Christmas party when we went. It was really busy but service was fantastic when we sat down taking our orders, nothing was to much trouble for waitress at all, very friendly thanks again, beef was very good on our festive menu carvery..

Staff need to be trained to ask customers if they have vouchers. Not surprise you at the end telling you that you can’t use them and end up paying more than you expected. “Computer says no” …. They could easily have processed the voucher at the end of the meal. Poor customer

Food was spot on but I felt the service was even better myself and my son was really look after by Emma at the Dronfield Toby Carvery, nothing was too much trouble and she made us aware of your app and the offers you currently have on working as a branch manager myself I would say see is a real credit to the team and the wider company. Base on this experience I will definitely be coming again, Thanks again Emma Top class

We have been to the Toby before and it’s been lovely however this time the service was poor and the food was average. We waited 15 minutes to be seated - staff kept walking past and ignoring the queue of people waiting to be seated. Staff were not welcoming or friendly and service was very slow even though the place was only a quarter full - staff never came back to table to see if we wanted desserts or more drinks so we ended up going to the bar to order as staff on the ground seemed scarce. Food was ok - some parts of the carvery were luke warm and hard. This visit has made me really consider whether to go back or not.
