The staff are really welcoming & let us change our table from the bar side to the restaurant. We asked to change when we saw how well the restaurant was decorated since our last visit.

The Hyde Park Inn
2 Hilltop Rd, DronfieldFabulous! We stumbled upon it on a Saturday night and was amazed to see the price of the v good value food on the website menu beforehand. Even more impressed when the food arrived, the quality and standard was fantastic and the bar staff so lovely. Proper homemade food, top quality no skimping on ingredients. Meat packed steak and ale pie, also fisherman's pie full of lots of lovely fish and prawns.

4-6 Chesterfield Rd, DronfieldOur daughter arranged an afternoon tea for family from 100 miles away, for a 70th birthday. The staff co-operated fully to ensure that even if she was held up on the M1, she would be able to collect the teas ready for the family gathering. There was so much food and all was absolutely delicious. The delicatessen took the stress away from her and enabled everyone to have a good time. Thank you so much!

We are on holiday in Dronfield and the owner drove around looking for us as we were out in the sticks. The take away was 2 medium calzones, garlic bread, chips and cheese. There was SO much delicious food that we had it for breakfast and lunch the next day. Really great value for money and great service. Thank you Pizza Experts Dronfield!! ?

Rookery Cottage, 13 High St, DronfieldI hadn’t been here since 1996, but it was lovely to see it was just as I remembered. The staff are amazing and so kind. The food was amazing too, freshly cooked, not saturated in fat, I normally don’t eat at Indian restaurants but this is the only place where I will go. Had an amazing night and the prices are very reasonable too. Well worth travelling to. We travelled from Nottinghamshire but definitely worth it. Only thing to be aware of is, it was a little bit cold in the restaurant but otherwise fantastic.

What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere and service. Even though it’s a takeaway, the place has a fantastic atmosphere — welcoming, lively, and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive, which made the experience feel much more personal than your typical takeaway.
The delivery service was equally impressive. The drivers were friendly, professional, and courteous, and the food arrived promptly and in perfect condition. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about providing a good experience rather than simply getting the order out the door.
Overall, a brilliant takeaway with great food, fantastic service, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent delivery drivers. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place for a really enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Toby Carvery Dronfield
Sheffield Road, Sheffield, Dronfieldi have been here multiple times the service and food has definitely met my satisfactory needs each time big shout out to whoever makes the lamb soft and tender and them honey roasted parsnips top it off for me , to say this is only a toby carvery and not a 5 star carvery restaurant chain i would definitely say it’s the top one in the uk and the staff that work there are such a pleasure to speak to keep up the good work :)

The food was nothing short of amazing – every dish was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, and the naan was fresh and fluffy.
The service was exceptional – the staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured everything was seamless from start to finish. They even accommodated a couple of special requests without hesitation, which was greatly appreciated.

Good applause to the Chef who cooked amazing.authentic italian food but also the front of the house team looked after us very well. We are coming back to here. Its 5 star service and food.

Free House, High St, Apperknowle, DronfieldLove this country style pub. This is NA cheese lovers paradise. So many to choose from and would require many visits to feel like you are satisfied that you have tried as many things as you can off the menu. We loved the fact that we could have the small room at the side, which was for a minimum of six people, which was amazing when we were meeting with the girls. The staff were very accommodating service was fast and efficient clearing away was great too. As nobody likes to sit around with finished plates which the plates didn't stay full for long thank you for a lovely experience and definitely will be back.

No fruit ciders such as Lilley's on tap but they have bottles of Old Mout.
No meals are served, but they have crisps and nuts.
