There's a record player downstairs! (Please don't sit there if you're not going to use it, thank you!)

Really enjoyed this place. Lotsa lagers and beers i hadnt seen before. Pizzas were really nice with cosy wood burner. Had a good night.

Small, patience sometimes required. Beer great. Staff and customers very friendly which makes it special.

The finest selection of ales you're likely to find anywhere; an absolute gem of a place!

Richard Conway

Amazing place - great beers and lovely people.

Lovely but extremely narrow micro bar. Up to 4 real ales on hand pump. Paulicarus took a pint of Golden by Tiny Rebel. Very steep and narrow stairs down to a basement room where the only toilet resides; also leads out to the beer yard / garden. Like the music playing! Paulicarus commented on a plaque from Bamberg Brauerei...advertising Rauchbier...he has been there to said brewery with me..smoked beer is the worst he/we have ever tasted. Imagine a pint of bitter with 20 dog ends soaking in it...it is a Crime! One of only a handfull of pints I could not finish.

Great beer, great quirky ambience.. I think it may be time to sort out the record player downstairs, I miss the vinyl vibe

A very cool little hideaway place with plenty of beer choice. The staff were extremely helpful too

Called in as part of the Mild Challenge and found it to be a pleasant little bar. It's very long and thin ,so you could probably class it as 'intimate', but it's a nice place, and the beers were great.

Great beer selection, lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. It's a small space though so can get very full, but that's part of its charm

Fantastic little green of a place. Narrow yet for a lot of people in. Quiet when arrived just after it opened on a Saturday but soon a local club of runners arrived treating themselves to a beer after a long hike run. Very friendly locals and a fantastic bar manager. Great local beers

No Real Ale, probably one of the most mold riddled basements I've ever been in. The décor is quite pleasant. And the IPA is pretty bad.

My ex girlfriend said to me once... Oh it's tiny! And i had exactly same phrase when i get in. To pass someone one needs to hug wall well. There's not much space if you want u fancy stand up and go to another corner. As you will bump into someone or ask him to make him self flat as a pancake so you can pass. And then there's alcohol. Its local brewery and that means silly names. Like I missed you, silly Sally slime smile and others. Ok I've made them up but if you're after well known brands not going to happen. Which is good as you've got chance to try something new, something you haven't had before. And let me tell you, you will enjoy every second there. It's not place for hipsters with thier sikly hair cut and daft as a bricks rose tattoos on thier hand. As such place exists in NM already. It's not a place to get hammered as this is already taken by pea... ?Here yoi came with mate, or date or like me by your self. You pay reasonable price for a pint, enjoy your time and you going home. Hoping you will be back. Like me. Soon. For another sweary Sarcastic shouting poetry. And that does sounds like something that hipster could enjoy ??
