Great Curry Cafe! Brilliant service really friendly staff and gorgeous food. Very reasonably priced and you can take your own alcoholic drink with you…they do sell soft drinks. Me & my family had a lovely night there will definitely go again!

So hospitable, a lovely welcome and very clean, great for dining in or take away would recommend. Definitely the best curry I've had in years, shame we're only visiting but will be back when we come back. Bring your own booze but soft drinks are available, amazing 5 ⭐

We had a takeaway from here. Lovely home made paratha, delicious curries - good hygiene rating - would recommend

Myself and 3 kids had a meal here and when we sat at the table there were only 2 other people sat at another table. Drinks order taken quickly and poppadums brought quickly. However we then had to wait 15 minutes for our main food order to be taken. On top of this we then had a further 45 minute wait for our food, 4 basic curries, 2 rice, chips and 2 naan, so hardly a complicated order. During our wait numerous takeaway orders were made and collected and at no time did any member of staff update us or apologise for our wait. I went to the counter to enquire about our order and was told they were busy and short staffed. Food came and was luke warm and the anount of chicken in the dishes was minimal. On paying the bill, which included four cans of coke (saying ‘multipack not to be sold seperately’) at £2.45 each!! I asked if we could have a discount because of the unreasonable long wait for our food. The response from the owner was that 40 minutes was not an unreasonable time to have to wait for food, they had to make profit on the drinks and what would I expect to pay at Nandos!! I was offered £1.55 off a £71.55 bill but at no time given an apology!!

Im not satisfied actually.. We went peak district and when return we go there.. The ambiance was nice but the food was not worth at all. Everything was very sweaty. I think they put sugar. And the biriyani.. I don't know how my friend was ate that one. I think they should improve their food quality. Thank you!

A great visit to Cafe Bombay in Chinley. The food was tasty and the service welcoming. BYOB is a good concept and other restaurants should follow their lead.

We got a takeaway from Cafe Bombay whilst holidaying nearby. Food was tasty, nice chips and nan bread. We did find the dishes (Madras and Korahi) to be very oily - a layer of oil could be clearly seen when opening the cartons - however they were very tasty.

Super little find! Staying in the area on holiday and decided to give Cafe Bombay a go. You can eat in or takeaway. It's BYO which helps keep the cost down and no corkage fee. Indian isn't my favourite choice but the hubby likes it and I have to say I really enjoyed my dinner of choice which I'd never tried before, lamb shashlik , think it may be my new go to in an Indian restaurant. Overall it was good value for money and the staff were friendly.

Really nice staff. Kind people. The cafe is very clean and welcoming. The place was cold though. I know everyone is having to skimp on heating but the food goes cold quickly. We will be going again though as the food was so nice and the staff were great.
