Best Indian food for miles , excellent service and staff

Cerisha Govender

Got really hungry around 12am and there weren't many places open. I was quite happy with my order. The food was packaged well and there were no spillages. Got spoilt to an extra offering of curry, which was also quite nice. Ordered Biryani, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Pilau rice and enjoyed all of it. Prices were quite reasonable as well, considering it was ordered via Uber Eats. Would definitely order from here again.

Nice food good service not too expensive

Absolutely disgraceful, ordered from them all accepted them nearly 2 hours later they deny the order and refuse to deliver saying they don’t deliver to Chinley despite a neighbour recommending them.If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would.

absolutely appealing as i was in there the man running it would not let two young girls use the bathroom and directed them the wrong way to the publics ( a ten minute walk away)

Very disappointed. We have ordered from Simply Indian previously and were very impressed. However on Saturday evening last this went completely out of the window. We spent well over £30.00 and most of the food delivered ended up in the bin.The Poppadoms were burnt which was poor but then both main meals were just terrible. We ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Dopiaza, both were absolutely bland aside from a strange floral taste. There wasn't a hint of spice or of any other flavours and the actual chicken itself was very hard and chewy. The only thing that was any good were the chips and the rice and after spending so much of my hard earned money on this disaster is veru hard to accept.I hate to complain but this really got to me so I emailed the restaurant and to date have received no response whatsover.Very poor!

Absolutely fantastic food and brilliant service. I’ve been working in Hayfield for 7 months and had numerous meals delivered (always on time & piping hot) and cannot recommended it enough. Sadly we are leaving Hayfield for pastures new and will really miss this place - it’s going to be neigh on impossible to find somewhere nearly as good.Thank you

The food from this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I’ve tried a few of the fish / prawn curries and several vegetarian ones and they have all been outstanding. I can highly recommend the channa chat puri, the chefs signature dish of king prawns with garlic, and the naga curries. Such complex and rich flavours. Very lucky to have this restaurant on my doorstep. Enjoy!

My 5 star review of this great restaurant is way overdue. Have had takeaways and meals from Mohamed and his team for many years. The takeaway service is top notch and always on time delivered to Kinder Road in Hayfield. Three simple words sum them up ..."Simply The Best". Regards Mike (AKA Crazy Horse) from Kinder Road.

It was 10 minutes from moment I've rang to place order to moment it was ready. And it was Saturday evening. Times when all takeawaysbare busy! Well done!Food wise. As always when I can't decide what to have, I'm going either with house special or signature dishes. This time it was house special.Paneer special lamb tika. Also as extras I have choose chips. Let me start with chips. For that price, I'll say its second biggest portion available in NM. However mine where bit to dry. Not a complaint, simple observation. I think if they where bit more soft, it would be perfect combine with meat and cheese i had in dish. Where they wort it? Even if you ordering just them I'll say yes.Paneer. Where Original its a vegetarian, meat was great addition. I'm wondering how chicken wouk taste instead of lamb. But this one i had was just great. I could feel unique taste of lamb and that cheese. Not sure what cheese it was, if I had to guess I would say it was tofu, but it was great. Soft yet well preserved so it didn't broke into smaller pieces in dish. I could easily cut it into pieces with table spoon and have it with bits of meat and sauce. And the spices! Oh my lord how well where they chosen. Cumin, onion, ginger. Tumeric and garam masala? Not sure about the latest one though. All together combined in amazing mixture of flavours. Let them explode with passion in your mouth. You will love it. And me? Once lockdown is over I'll definitely come for full restaurant experience.Serverd on my own with Kumala Chardonnay.
