A must visit for dining in or taking out. Popular on Fridays and through the weekends, quieter times to eat in during the weekdays. While I waited for my take out i enjoyed a drink and chatted with a fellow foodie lover, there is ample seating available and the service is very warm and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect, not too dark that you can't read the menu and there is no overly loud background music. Plenty of tables for eating in and great waiters that are willing to explain the menu in more detail for those who wish to explore their taste buds, they offer a wide selection of choices. Maazi has been consistently excellent for quality and service and I have been visiting regularly for the last 6 months. The meat dishes are generous and tender, and not overly oily. Parking can be found relatively easy in the evening.

Service was good, ambiance was good, staff were kind. But the food was not even close to what actual Indian food is like. I genuinely didn't expect the taste of the food would be so low. The flavours were not even close to what actual Indian food tastes like. Definitely not worth the price. There are restaurants that has far better Indian tastes. I really hope the team takes this review positively and work on it.

Now before I continue with my review, I would like to say we where visitors to the area and not regular visitors. We ordered a takeaway delivery to out rented holiday accommodation. We all had been looking forward to our Indian meal.Starters and main were tasteless, bland and thin.My king prawns where over cooked and my six friends were totally disappointed with our individual meals.Maybe we are spoiled having lived in the Birmingham area where Currys are at a different level? Never the less, we all felt that consideribg the money we have spent it was extremely poor. This was our second visit and it did not live up to the quality and taste we received on our first.Don't risk it!

This is one of my go to Indian restaurants if I’m being honest, I’ve been a few times now and every time I’ve been it’s very friendly and the food has been 100% every time. The staff remember us and make us really welcome 10 out of 10 every time.

Visited for the third time and it did not disappoint . We don’t live locally, but always come here when we are staying in hathersage and it just gets better and better. Service was a little slow, had to ask three times to pay the bill. But this wouldn’t put us off returning as the food was fabulous.
