We had our dad's wake there, the food was lovely, sausage rolls were delicious, the bread used for the sandwiches was very tasty, plenty of choice, it was well presented and all of the staff were very accommodating and helpful, would definitely recommend the Cat n Fiddle.

Having lived in Kirk Hallam for my entire 41 years this has always been my local. I've seen the place evolve over the years and also loved working here when my children were you ger. I can honestly say that the current management and team are my favourites! Having recently undergone a refurbishment, the place looks clean and welcoming and the smaller menu size now means that the food served is all of the best quality and presentation. Pool table, dart board, regular quiz nights, karaoke and live entertainment all help to make this pub one of the best! Keep doing what you're doing guys! ??

The Cat and Fiddle has been a local watering hole for Kirk Hallam residents for years. It’s had some sketchy moments in the past, but seems to have turned over a new leaf. Lovely no nonsense food and friendly staff, perfect Sunday afternoon really. Brought my mum here for a Sunday dinner and we were really impressed with both the food and the value. Would highly recommend!

Since the refurbishment we haven't been impressed. It is not very family friendly, the restaurant section is not big enough and the lay out seems odd. We won't be returning anymore which is very sad as it used to be our favourite place to eat.

Sadly the refurb and new menu was disappointing. Nachos are now from the packet and the fish I ordered that arrived from my fish and chips was awful. A shame because these menu items were better before so now we will no longer eat there. Staff are nice and it’s ok for just a drink.
Came for 30th birthday meal and everything was fantastic. The service was flawless nothing was to much trouble and the food arrived all together and was hot not one person had any complaints and with two kids there thats rare! We all loved the refurb thank you again for an amazing night !!!

Good food, good service, but I can't understand why you would swap the bar and the restaurant. The restaurant side now smaller and only has urinals in the gents which is no good for small children. A poor choice during the refurb.

Came on Saturday to have a late lunch and watch the sport, the food was gorgeous would recommend the kebabs and the onion rings were spot on! Really nice atmosphere staff were attentive would come back
