Fabulous place to visit.

The English breakfast is good, the scrambled eggs on toast are good, the bread rolls are good. The sandwiches are overpriced for a thin amount of meat on huge slices of nutty bread. Fries are okay. This restaurant mainly caters to people playing golf that might want a snack. It is absolutely not a destination location by any means, doesn't have the quality of food required to make a trip up to Horsley. I would describe this restaurant as "good enough I guess". If there's nothing else and you are starving, it will do. The view of the grounds is better than the sandwiches in the restaurant. The staff is nice though.

Visited for the festive lunch but found the experience disappointing, very slow service spoiled it, had to wait 40mins for starter of pate and soup, altogether 1 hour 15 mins for a two course lunch. We don’t want to be rushed but thought this was poor. The table was set for afternoon tea so we had to ask for cutlery and salt and pepper overall everything took too long.

Great Full English, all you need to start the day. Staff are very friendly and polite, nothing is to much trouble, a great weekend.

Sunday lunch was very disappointing, very little choice and when the main arrived we thought they had forgotten to put the meat on the plate. Desserts well didn’t get to try as they had ran out of our choice. Coffee arrived and it was served in a mug! Just not the horsley lodge like it use to be with class

We went for high tea with my family and the service was terrible the staff are untrained and not interested. The sandwich fingers were ok but the cakes were of a poor standard especially for the cost, avoid!

Great food, great service & great atmosphere. Highly recommend! Was actually more food than we could eat so we were kindly given boxes to take away the extra food. Sunny day & lovely to sit lookingbout over the grounds and golf course

Breakfast was fresh, and plentiful and our evening meal was amazing, one of the richest tastiest pies we've ever had. Also enjoyed the Brownie pudding. Lovely bright modern restaurant area with views over the Golf Course. Would highly recommend

More People need to visit this restaurant for a change our first time Sunday 10 February mid afternoon lovely surroundings food excellent 3 course meal £19.95 well presented. roast beef was the best roast beef ever we called there because Morley Hayes had a que and a waiting time of about 30 minutes before you could get a table then you would have wait longer to get your meal.we WILL be going again . a very pleasant afternoon give it a try you won't be disappointed
