I arranged a Sunday lunch booking with my family. And wow… it seriously didn’t disappoint! We’d been away and we really craved a Sunday roast. Our eyes were wide and bellies rumbling when every trimming we could have asked for came out. Value for money is second to none. Lovely friendly pub with a great menu. Visited with daughter son in law and 3 grandchildren. We all found something on the menu and it was all great. Special mention to the home style chips that we all love. Excellent play area kept a 10, 6 and 3 year old occupied. Plenty of outdoor seating although it was quite overcast and windy so managed to get a table inside. It was very busy for 5pm week day so obviously popular with locals
