“Definitely a different pub. Missed it 1st time as the pub sign has fallen off. Very friendly staff serving cask beers from jugs filled from the cellar. Lovely beer”

“Staying briefly in the village, thought we'd give the Miners a try. Good call! The wide variety of steak pies was mind boggling. We chose steak and stilton and steak solo. A pot of gravy to accompany, with home made chips. Washed down with a pint of well served Landlord ale. Fully recommend if you're in the area.”

“Lovely food, freshly cooked with a creative and diverse menu. Our waitress was friendly and efficient but service was quite slow despite there being few customers when we were there. The tables are quite crammed. It's a difficult balance between creating easy flow for table service, as many covers as possible for the success of the business, and customer comfort.”
