Ye Olde Gate Inn
1874 Well St, Brassington, MatlockNeed a cosy, comfy and welcoming pub with a roaring coal fires and a warm welcome? Our group of seven were seeking classic pub food and interesting vegan options - and we found it! We would recommend both the aubergine curry and the steak pie - and how often can you say that??? Staff were fantastic, too!

The Tiger Inn
Tiger Inn, 232 Ashbourne Rd, Turnditch, BelperMy girlfriend and I went on Pie night and were blown away by the choice! 100 different pies, choose your favourite topping eg, Puff pastry, shortcrust, mash or sweet potato mash! The pies didn’t look very big but they were overflowing with fillings and incredibly tasty. Neither of us could finish and the flavours were amazing with proper chips and veg! Highly recommended and we will be returning, there’s so many more we wanted to try!Was shocked at the prices too. 2pies, sides, 2 cider shandy and 2pints of fresh orange and lemonade £35. Bargain!!
