Restaurants in Kirk Ireton
The Miners Arms, Brassington
Miners Hill, Brassington, MatlockCalled in here for a drink and a bite to eat. The menu on Google is out of date but the breakfast menu was just what we wanted. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was ample choice of drinks and the food was very tasty indeed
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

Ye Olde Gate Inn
1874 Well St, Brassington, MatlockWe went for a late lunch at the end of a hike and were so impressed, the staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was delicious. Nearly all the menu is gluten free or has gluten free alternatives which was amazing. They also catered for dairy free. We will definitely be going back. The new owners are doing a good job with this lovely old pub.
Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free and dairy free options.

The Tiger Inn
Tiger Inn, 232 Ashbourne Rd, Turnditch, BelperHad Sunday lunch here yesterday, we all agreed it was the best Sunday dinner we've ever had. Cooked to a tee, so flavoursome, even the gravy was delicious. Puddings also divine...planning our next visit asap. Service was also welcoming and happily met all our varied needs. Thank you

Watermark
Unnamed Road, AshbourneI love the Watermark café and gift shop, we visit pretty much every time. The selection of cakes, pasties and drinks is lovely, with sandwiches etc in the fridge and a lovely vegan sausage roll.
We also love the Mainsail Restaurant, which some visitors might not realise is upstairs, if they want a non-takeaway experience with panoramic views.
