Our family has a lot of connections with Brassington, sadly many have passed and are buried there but we love to visit and admire from outside, The manor house which was owned by grandma and on Saturday we booked for lunch. The staff was absolutely amazing, so friendly and even spoilt out dog Lily. The food was delicious and im really hoping we can visit again soon.

Called in here for a drink and a bite to eat. The menu on Google is out of date but the breakfast menu was just what we wanted. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was ample choice of drinks and the food was very tasty indeed

The Barley Mow Inn

Main St, Kirk Ireton, Ashbourne

We came across this little gem of a pub whilst out walking in the area, the pup seemed to be full of vert welcoming locals and bar staff. Best of all was the local ale. Made our day. Very pet friendly with a cosy fire too

Watermark

Unnamed Road, Ashbourne

I love the Watermark café and gift shop, we visit pretty much every time. The selection of cakes, pasties and drinks is lovely, with sandwiches etc in the fridge and a lovely vegan sausage roll.

We also love the Mainsail Restaurant, which some visitors might not realise is upstairs, if they want a non-takeaway experience with panoramic views.

The Tiger Inn

Tiger Inn, 232 Ashbourne Rd, Turnditch, Belper

Sunday roast was absolutely amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Great portions, food was hot, not lukewarm. The gravy was sensational- the portions were substantial. Staff were friendly, area was clean, service great. I'd definitely recommend this pub and I will be back for more!
