“Ate here yesterday, the service was quick, the restaurant was clean, indoor and door seating areas. The cod and chip meal was outstanding! White cod, crispy batter and well cooked chips, curry sauce was lovely. Would definitely recommend this place if in Matlock bath.”

“This was a great discovery as they fry the fish and chips seperately to the non halal food. We were not too hungry. My wife had the mini fish and chips and I had the small with curry sauce. The cod fish was in lovely crispy and light batter.
The chips were delicious soft and tasty great. The curry sauce was of perfect consistency, vegetarian and also tasted great. The staff were friendly and happy to be of service, especially considering that it could not be easy working, as it was almost 30 degrees outside and probably much hotter inside.”

“Ordered a take away from here whilst on holiday after carefully reading through recent reviews.
The food was very nice- we had 2 mixed kebabs and a cheese burger. We all enjoyed the food and would definitely order from here again.

“Been going to this chip shop for many years, travelling from Darley Dale (which has its own very good chippie too).
The ladies are always very pleasant and the chips are apparently cooked in vegetable oil which is why they are so delicious. The fish is always good too. Cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a pity that parking is always difficult.”

“Went in on Saturday 30th august 2days ago. Had a large chips which was cold. And a large Donner meat there wasn't a lot of meat for the price. And the girl who served me. Didn't smile. I'm very disatified with my food. I shall not be coming in again”
