“We felt incredibly welcome from the moment we stepped in. The Abbeydale Moonshine and Daily Bread were both excellent beers, perfectly complementing the pub’s warm and inviting atmosphere. This is a proper, cosy pub with great character. The staff were friendly and engaging, making for an enjoyable chat during our visit. Unfortunately, our stay was brief as my friend had to catch a train, but we’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to my next visit!”

“Called in for a late afternoon meal on Saturday, after getting our caravan set up at a local camp.
Service was excellent and the food was great too.
Whilst there we booked in for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed, quality was again excellent and the Sunday lunch was a substantial portion and great value for money.
They have a nice beer garden and the whole pub (including restaurant) was dog friendly which was a great find for us.”

“We had two evenings with you during our 4 night stay in Brassington. The pie was out of this world. Just delicious. The service was spot on and staff were so helpful. We will certainly be back when we are back in the Peaks.”
