Popped in here this evening for dinner and what a pleasant surprise. Warm and welcoming pub with open fire on. The food was fantastic and the service was also. Would definitely recommend and will visit again if we are ever in the area.
Highly recommend. Great food. Lovely helpful staff and lovely pub too. Roaring fire in there & good beer too! We came here a couple of years ago in the summer when we stayed in the area & it was lovely then too- tables outside with parasols, and a hog roast evening. Met up with friends- we travelled from Leicester & they travelled from nr Manchester. Due to traffic& roadworks we were later than our table. Having taken a short walk around Carsington water my wife and I called at the miners Arms for lunch everything was marvellous the food was exceptionall.The service etc. And the fact it is dog friendly makes the visit all the better .the times we have had to sit outside pubs and cafes that ban dogs is unbelievable infact now we don't. So thank you Miners Arms we will definitely return.
