Typical Prem Inn, beds good and clean/comfortable. The lady on reception very friendly and helpful. Most of the Prem Inns I stay at are getting near revamping time. There are no facilities such as pools & gyms yet they cost more than better star rated Hotels. Not good value any longer.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff and eager to help had a small issue with the room that I was allocated within 10 minutes I was reissued a new room.Pub and restaurant next door! Really nice staff clean and tidy, food could be a little bit better hence the 4* rating.I will be back.

Didn't like the electronic check in systemFood & drinks: Had an evening meal in the next door restaurant, it was very poor quality

Its a Premiere Inn they're all the same. Okay rooms, only down side is not being able to turn the room temperature down, so if its stuck at 21º all through the night, as in this trip, they're horrendous. Having to have a window open in the winter! Breakfast worth it as always, although the Kids were disappointed with no hot chocolate here.Rooms: Standard room, decent TV. Room far too hot though. Premier Inn really need to allow for greater temperature control /aircon

Whilst the rooms and services are pretty much the standard budget hotel you'd expect to see (far from exceptional but beats a travelodge), the self-check-in system is pretty abysmal and the staff are largely powerless to resolve any problems, not to mention a very unsympathetic response to a fairly major issue from the receptionist.Hidden in the small text of the confirmation email is the notification that you must pay on arrival which is absolutely not clear enough, and on a company card with a spend limit, this is incredibly impractical (if not impossible) and unexpected when paying for a long stay.Self-service has its place when it comes to low-cost purchases like a supermarket but it absolutely does not work properly here and very nearly left me stranded overnight 250 miles from home. Normally would recommend Premier Inn but give this one a miss.
