Great pub with brilliant staff. The service and food was excellent and we did not have to wait to long for our orders to come out. So I would definitely recommend this to others to try it out.

I love this place. The food is great and very well priced. The staff are great and it's a lovely place to eat and relax. We come here often, sometimes just for a drink. Tonight I had the rump steak sizzler with sweet potato fries and onion rings and I am a happy woman. My husband loves the Full Lonty Mixed Grill. Thanks for a great night again.

Came here today, it wasn’t particularly busy but they were out of stock for, I’m not kidding, over half of all menu items even including puddings. The wait was upwards of 45 mins and the food itself was all overcooked and dry, sweet potato fries are meant to be orange not black. Service was all round pretty slow but the couple staff I spoke to seemed alright. To add to this, we waited around 30 minutes for a literal bowl of ice cream, ended up spending around 2 hours here in total what a waste of time. Would not recommend.

Came here today, the wait for the food was very long, it wasn’t that busy, but the food portion on my plate was ridiculous, I payed almost £12 for the equivalent of a tesco meal deal, think I’d rather have that to be honest. There was hardly anything on the menu either. Let’s put it this way, I was a very hungry horse. Waited 30 minutes for a bowl of ice cream as well ): Most of the staff were huffing and puffing when they looked at us too, not a joyful experience overall.

Visited with my friend and son. What’s a great experience. Food was lovely, staff were friendly and very helpful, the food came out in reasonable time. Also a great atmosphere. Will be visiting again.

Always come to the tall chimney for our dinner, that much that they know our order of by heart which is great haha,Rich always makes amazing dinner and we are sure he works very hard making all them Christmas dinners lol.Keep feeding us like this and we will keep coming!Amazing all round! Love the place! Ash, Naomi, Michelle, rich and Amy all work really hard. Thank you for great service.

I love this pub, it’s my local but I ordered the festive nachos last week and the portion size was perfect! big plate and the price was good. This week I came in for some festive nachos again and the prices for them were the same, yet they gave me a smaller plate, less food. Once I asked about it the waitress was lovely and respectful but I didn’t hear anything back about them. Disappointing because I have booked another table for Christmas Eve. Let’s hope the nachos are up to standard then!!

Great service from ash, really friendly and looked after the kids with some Pokémon cards. Really good value for money. Was quite cheap for eating out and expected the quality of food to reflect the price. However I was surprised at how good the food was! Definitely be back. Thank you

The food was good, I enjoyed my Turkey Roast Dinner. I even had a pudding and a cup of tea.Kid-friendliness: The kids were catered for the food.

Came here with grandchildren on a Sunday lunchtime. It was quite busy. Boys enjoyed their burgers. I enjoyed my pie, but pastry was a bit hard. My wife had some nibbly bits and brought some home wrapped in Tin foil.

First time I have been since new management. Menu has changed so the options are severely reduced. Had to collect your cutlery yourself, had no interactions with staff just put food down and walked away. Food was dry and completely tasteless, also portion sizes are a lot smaller. Sad it was such a disappointment as it was always a favourite restaurant of mine. Won't be returning.
