Habibs is a bang avarage fish bar. Had the donner burger, other family members had cheeseburger and and donner kebab. Burgers were dry and couldn’t taste the cheese, however the donner meat was great and cooked to perfection. When we got back it was still warm. However it took what felt like forever to get it. Overall not entirely bad Ok to get if you can’t be bothered to cook at home

Visited this amazing chippy after a day at gullivers and what an amazing place it is! Fully halal and the hospitality was impeccable. Seriously the best fish and chips we’ve ever had and their signature curry sauce was to die for. The owner was so welcoming and so friendly. Absolutely amazing place and hope to visit again next time we’re close by!

Amazing food! Freshly made and wasn't leaking oil like some other fish shops. The price was good.The guy went out of his way to rectify an issue we had. Highly recommended, great service! Definitely visiting again when we are in the area.

I've come here for gluten free fish and chips for years and was always happy with the portions and prices. Since it's come under new management, the portion sizes have decreased but the prices have increased. The quality is no longer there either. I just paid £20 for 2 X small fish and chips which I can only describe as a soggy snack. Disappointing. The old owners were doing a great job.

Beautiful fish and chips. Super friendly service. Will certainly go back again.Traditionally we’ve always visited the chippy across the road because of its top notch fish and chips. Opening times can be a bit sketchy. They’re’s no denying these were every bit as good, if not slightly better and opening times are more reliable.

Went today after visiting Gullivers Kingdom. Food was amazing and curry sauce is a must try. The owner was very friendly and service was excellent. We had the fish and chips, chip butty and donner. Portion sizes were huge. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had this delivered and the chips were awful. Half raw half stale and like it was the bottom of the batch all bits. Was like 3 different batches mixed together and warmed up. Disappointed

Pre ordered on line, was ready when we arrived. Chips and fish delicious, chicken tasty and deep fried mars bar… yummy ?. They have a very extensive menu, would highly recommend.
Best fish and chips I have ever eaten. I normally leave at least half of the chips but I ate every single one.

Terribly slow service, the guys looked like they had no idea what was going on . Had to wait approx 25 mins for fish and chips for takeaway. Food was nice but small portions for the price.

The quality of food and service is excellent. You can expect well made fast food and friendly owner makes this a pleasant place to visit. The pizzas and chips with curry is really tasty. Well worth a visit.

Went walking in the peak district and on our way home we found this wonderful Fish and chip shop in Cromford .was very happy to find out that they don't sell or cook any pork products and the Fish and hips is 'Halal 'The owner Habib made us feel very welcome .I would say the the small fish n chips is not small and family members said it was filling .At some chip shops a large fish n chips means too many chips and a slightly larger fish .Not at Habib's ( Cromford fish n chips ) My fish was actually large and the chips were just enough. They have a family recipe curry sauce that is very nice .Can wait to revisit again this summer !

Food was pretty good to be fair. Chips were really tasty and cooked fresh in clean oil. My wife opted for the gluten free fish and it was the best she’d ever had. Really crispy batter and not at all greasy. I had the regular fish which came with a tasty light crispy batter. The fish was really flakey and delicious. Prices are a bit steep but we knew that before we went. The restaurant could do with a little spruce up and modernising but all in all, a good choice for halal fish and chips in the area.Dietary restrictions: Not much choices in the local area for halal food so this place was a good find. Everything here is halal so no worries about cross contamination. My wife who’s a coeliac went for the gf fish and chips and loved it. No after effects either so happy about that. Will definitely come again when visiting the area.
