Woodside Café

Traditional British roadside cafe. Great, honest food and hot drinks. Good value and freshly made to order. Lovely people cooking and serving. Can’t go wrong. I had a bacon and sausage bap and had to ask what the sausage was as it was awesome - it was a Cumberland. My companions had bacon baps and they were really pleased.

The Quarryman

Called in on the spur of the moment and had a great evening.\nWe were greeted by patrons outside, despite not knowing them and welcomed once inside by all.\nThe menu was great for us, being a sort of "tapas" style.\nThe food was excellent and very well priced.\nThe owner and staff were really warm and welcoming, we felt "at home" despite being strangers.\nThe visit made our stay in Wirksworth that much more enjoyable.

Le Mistral Wirksworth - French Restaurant

Great for posh people and nothing wrong with that . There also great things going on in Ripley Alfreton Heanor and Langley mill .. great value just different but stop wasting you pip on Fags and booze and check places like this now and again . ❤️

Sour Cow

Fab place to stop for coffee and cake. The Mocha was really great and the Bakewell slice and fruit scone were absolutely delicious ?
We had a nice welcome and wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Sizzling pig Wirksworth

Love a Yorkshire pudding wrap so had to try this place and glad I did got a pork and stuffing yorkie it was packed full of meat with delious thick gravy was fantastic lots of more on offer like chicken, beef aswell. Would definitely recommend this place.

Habibs Cromford fish bar halal

Fantastic chips. Sorry I can't vouch for the fish as I am vegetarian. Habib always seems to be open when I go past, often at the end of a long local walk and the temptation is too great to resist. Always had a good portion of really hot chips.

Wheatsheaf Inn

Lovely cafe with lovely views.Good food and staff very helpful.Dogs allowed inside and also plenty of seating outside.Thete is a charge for parking but this education centre is run voluntary so we don't mind paying.Would recommend a visit.
