I live in Wirksworth & have visited at least once a month. Lovely scones ,friendly service. Yes you do wait a little time sometimes but it is a popular place. I took my Grandaughter (11mths) recently, sat outside not to bother anyone but staff was welcoming. Offering to get us a highchair ,asking if we had anything we needed acknowledged grandaugther. The village has a really good place to visit. !

Called in for a coffee while out on a motorcycle ride. Friendly and helpful staff, great coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. Very reasonable prices too.

It’s a nice cafe but I have visited twice in the last 2 weeks and had to wait nearly an hour for a bacon cob on both occasions the service is too slow it has spoilt the experience

This is the second time we have ate here, it was a busy Saturday and we sat outside enjoying the sunshine. We both ordered paninis and whilst we appreciate it was quite busy we did have a long wait of just over thirty minutes. The food though was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it with a lovely salad with it. We aren't local and were just passing through whilst staying locally in our caravan but in the end we had to rush our meal to get back because of the parking restrictions. However we will certainly return as the food is very good and definitely competitively priced. Next time if at all possible we will arrange to eat at the start of our parking time. Keep up the good work, great to see so many people meeting friends there.

Having frequented Websters Cafe since opening we are accustomed to it's strengths and quirks. We know the food is always good (although not as good value as it once was), the service ranges from exceptionally friendly to rather brusque, never to go if you're in a rush as it's always leisurely service and until the past 6 months we've alway felt welcome and comfortable bringing babies and children in. Recently, we could not stand by the last comment. The past few times we have felt unwelcome and at times felt staff have been bordering on rude towards both ourselves and others dining with children. Our most recent encounter made us feel it necessary to leave the cafe before finishing our meal and as a result after years of patronage we will not be returning again. Wirksworth sadly lacks many places for coffee however, if you are in town with a family I'd recommend either waiting until you get home for refreshments or visiting either Le Mistral or pubs where you'll get a much more welcoming atmosphere.

Busy, noisy cafe, nice downstairs. Sat in the rather soulless room upstairs and drinks took ages to arrive. Drinks were OK and cafe clean and tidy.

Stumbled on this little gem whilst doing a treasure hunt around Wirksworth with the girls and so glad we did. It's tucked away down a side street near the church. The coffee is probably one of the best I've had in ages nice and strong and creamy and the cheese scones actually taste like cheese. My friend had a vegetable chilli jacket which she said was and the jacket was straight out the oven (not microwave). It's very clean stuff the staff really friendly and the service very quick... There's space to sit outside as we had dogs so will definitely be returning to try up some more of the. Excellent ?

Small, friendly cafe attached to the Heritage Centre. We only called in for a drink, mid afternoon in December but it was busy. The cakes looked particularly tempting. Friendly staff and quick service. A good cup of tea.

We had delicious breakfasts here during our stay in Wirksworth. The food is good quality, well presented and beautifully cooked. The coffee is top notch and the service is excellent..The sunny courtyard is a lovely spot for breakfast al fresco! Definitely recommended!

Nice and clean cafe with lovely staff member willing to make an iced latte for us even though it wasn't on the menu. Cheese scones are ace. Outdoor seating area is nice and secluded. Attached to the visitor centre. Recommend if you want simple tasty fare.
