Lovely coffee shop in a quaint village. Nice range of cakes, all vegan or vegetarian ( I'm neither but the cakes were lovely).

Gosh, amazing food. I tried the homily pie, and it's delicious, and a proper bakewell tart is just amazing, which is made on site. They also have local jams chutney and loafs more. Go and try and be amazed

This was a good find, seating outside with great food, reasonably priced. A nice selection of home made produce for sale too. ?

Absolutely amazing homity pie and coleslaw. A must visit if in the area. The Bakewell tart was also delicious. Lovely, friendly staff. A gem of a cafe. The rain poured as we sat and enjoyed a treat in this beautiful village.

What a treat, a vegetarian cafe tucked away behind the Main Street. Outdoor seating only, coffee was OK but the homemade food on offer was super. Veggie, vegan and plenty of gluten free options. Nothing too much trouble. Brought loads home to freeze too! Water provided for dogs.

A fabulous little bakery in the village of Youlgreave set in the Peak District. Offers a wide range of freshly made cakes and snacks - ideal before or after a day's walk in the stunning area. Seating available outside for tea/coffee and cake. Friendly service.

What a brilliant place in Youlgreave. We were staying in the village for a few day's holiday. Picked up some home-made Homity Pies, Bakewell tart, and a Treacle Tart. Lovely tea when we got home.Every village should have a Peak Feast!

Googled "coffee shops in Youlgrave" at the end of a great 9 mile hike and found this place hidden in a back lane! A working bakery with a cafe attached, lovely choice of cakes, I had an apricot cake, wife had lemon, both were lovely and moist, coffee was great as well. All for £9.00!!

Delicious food! Perfect for a quick lunch after a hike in the surrounding area. The staff were nice enough to serve us after the official closing time as well which was very much appreciated. We also got some frozen meals to eat for later which were just as good as the food on site. Also very impressed with the compostable plates/utensils! And lastly.. Coffee is amazing. Definitely a highlight of the Peak District :)

I had heard good things about the brownies from Peak Feast from my family and I had a chance to try them for myself on a recent trip home to the area. It was quite late in the day when we got there so they didn’t have the full range of flavours on offer but it still proved to be a difficult choice ? After a lot of prevaricating I eventually chose the Toblerone brownie and I have to say it was delicious - rich, gooey and chewy on the inside and crispy on top. I have it on good authority that the Turkish Delight brownie is heavenly as is the Twix one. I have my eye on the ginger or orange one for next time! They do really good Homity Pies for a picnic too and we’ve enjoyed them in the past whilst walking in the area. Definitely worth seeking out this little place if you’re in the area.

I came across this place quite a few years ago now and bought a homity pie. This homity pie was to spark a fire in me and I embarked on a quest to eat homity pie whenever I saw it on a menu, as it was so delicious. Sadly, no other homity pie lived up to the one I bought from Peak Feast and due to my crushing disappointment I ruined quite a few family celebrations at various restaurants. Eventually my family staged an intervention and banned me from eating homity pie ever again as I was never happy when it came out from the kitchen. For many years, I only had homity pie in my dreams...Until today. By happenchance, I was in Youlgreave and remembered that first homity pie. Mouth watering, I entered the shop. Do you still make them? I asked. There they were. The homitys. Lined up ready to be eaten. I felt like gollum finding the one ring.At last! I can finally enjoy the one pie to rule them all!TL;DR, don't buy your homity pie from anywhere else, these are the only ones worth eating.

What a find! Excellent vegetarian bakery, selling cakes and baked sweet yumminess as well as savoury snacks and meals including awesome homity pies, daily soup and specials (today was a delicious daal served with naan and mango chutney). Prices very reasonable and friendly service, outdoor seating only (a slightly damp bum from the recently rained on bench was completely worth it). If you're visiting Youlgreave for the excellent walking, I would highly recommend stopping here for take away provisions or a lunch stop. Also posh ready meals in the fridge, bread rolls / loaves and pantry basics for sale.

Such great food. We had homity pie and coleslaw, toasted cranberry & brie sandwiches and biscotti cake. All were wonderful and are highly recommended. The tea and a flat white were very good too and the staff very friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable visit in a grand Peak District village.
