What a joy to find a pub with such well cared for real ales. I wasn't feeling too great, so couldn't have as many as I would have liked. The IPA and 200 (both from Palmers) were top notch. I should add that the staff and atmosphere equal the quality of the beer. I am tempted to move to Axminster to have this as my local!

Nice friendly pub. Bar lady was from out city of Plymouth, so happy to chat. The beer was good and my coffee was very nice. Olde world decor suited the pub. Would definitely go there again.
A lovely pub with an amazing selection of very well kept Palmers ales - this has won it CAMRA's pub of the year for Exeter and East Devon.

Stopped for a pint and some pool. Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff, also a wide range of local brewery options; both cider and ale. Would definitely recommend.

Our first vist to Axminster Inn for a Sunday Rost and to try the award winning ales.A very welcoming reception and a very nice Sunday Roast followed by a few games of pool.Thanks for a great Sunday lunch experience. The ales where very good to.
