allergic reaction!!! i ordered a bacon bap! sausage came, wrongly i didn’t check my order! i instantly had an allergic reaction! and am currently at north devon district hospital! i called the shop and explained and the girl put the phone down on me after talking to me extremely rude. i’m shocked!! i also tried contacting costa every other way! conveniently they have know head office phone number in use!. know other number at all!! i looked on the website and the reviews are shocking!!! so so bad! i highly recommend do not order on here!! it’s not safe to do so. and the lack of none support is worrying. i am definitely going to sue !!

The tap hasn’t been working in the disable toilet for about three weeks. I have reported it to Costa but they’ve done nothing about it. Also I ordered a latte and toast with marmalade and my toast and marmalade did not come and it was forgotten all about and I left without having it. So I hope they will give me some toast and marmalade when I go in there next time because they didn’t do it this time I hope they remember that.

This is pretty much as good as a Costa can get. If you're going to Barnstaple, you have to visit this one. It's got the friendliest staff, it's air-conditioned and very spacious, it's usually not as busy, the service is fast, there's a large car park with free parking, and there's outdoor seating.\\nHowever, it's still a Costa. That means the drinks are very overpriced, the food is VERY overpriced, it's not the cleanest coffee shop, they mistreat their staff and they are not a very ethical company. But, you know, if you're gonna go to a Costa in the area, this is the best option.

I waited 20 min in the queue before ordering and then another 10 for my drink to be ready.\\nWhat I received was completely lacking body, it was very watery and the milk was burned.\\nI ordered a cortado expecting something strong and creamy and I received a watery hot milk.\\nThere were 4 people in the bar, so there really shouldn't have been such a long wait.\\nVery disappointing

Honestly this Costa has the friendliest staff! Always a pleasure to visit this shop, great location by the train station, easy access to buses and within walking distance to the town. I usually order ahead via the app and the drinks and food are always ready at the collection point made exactly as requested. There is such a friendly and happy atmosphere in here created by the staff and their interactions with customers.
Standard Costa outlet. Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Fairly busy. Friendly, engaging staff. However toilets not very clean. They needed some TLC. The toasted ham & cheese sandwich plus americano coffee were fine.

Service was exceptional. Order was received with exactly what we asked for, within about 1 minute. Impressed to get an extra hot latte, exactly what we asked for. Standard Costa snacks available. Very nice Belgian chocolate frostino, and muffin! Parking lot/car park right next to the coffee shop, with free parking. Very convenient. Not far off a main road which is good if you are traveling through Barnstaple. Highly recommended, good experience.
