Went and spent the day watching football, the atmosphere was really good and the drinks were priced very reasonable. Great day, and I will be returning with my mates for more football days.

Vedry warm and personal welcome from Kelly. Atmosphere and service carried on in a very friendly manner. Room was clean and bright. One side of the matress seemed to have collapsed but the other side was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Bathroom and shower were adequate and spotlessly clean. During the evening, in the bar I noticed some chips etc being served to some customers. I enquired if I could order some but was told they were only for the bowling team. However, i was promptly asked if I would like some and was served a plate of chips and sausages, free of charge ! A full English breakfast was purchased for £5 and their bar prices were also very reasonable/ Can highly recommend and if I'm down that way, will definitely stay again.

Recently spent a night in the newly refurbished rooms above the pub. Perfect location for town centre / Theatre. Complimentary coffee / tea / shampoo & body wash. Clean and fresh with a comfy bed. Breakfast was a bargain and freshly cooked for us. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be back.
